Slow, boring and dumb. The story made absolutely no sense. Annie was trying to find out who was trying to frame her for murder and why. Grandma who was so forgiving of Annie after she was convicted and imprisoned for killing her son was the obvious choice to me. Annie engaged a stranger named Billy, whose truck she tried to steal, to help her find out who was trying to frame her. She found several ID's in Billy's truck with his picture and different names. He gave some off the wall answer as to why he had them and it was never mentioned again. Very strange. As they search the home of a person they suspected, Billy finds wads of money and jewelry and steals it. He never tells Annie and it is never mentioned. At the end, Billy steals the $200, 000 blackmail money. How did Billy know that the purchase contained all this money and where to find the purse. How did Annie afford to Uber all over town when she was an unemployed maid with a son to support. Did Billy work? Too much missing information.

Annie, a single mom who works as a maid, goes to a new job, gets drugged and ends up near a pool with a dead woman floating in it and blood on her hands! This is a pretty good Lifetime movie filmed entirely in Canada with a good Canadian cast. She leaves and finds out that the woman who was murdered was the head juror who voted to convict her in a DUI for murdering her husband. She knows that someone is trying to set her up and she gains the help of a guy named Billy whose truck she almost stole who wants to help her clear her name. She has a boy named Tate who stayed with her wealthy mother-in-law while she was serving her sentence. She goes to pick him up and then goes home to figure out what to do next since her fingerprints were found at the scene of the crime. You will have to tune in to this one to see what happens next and you won't be disappointed. Quite entertaining with a good script! Definitely recommend!!!

Annie Wilkerson got a raw deal in life. In an auto accident in which her husband died, Annie was not at fault. But a crooked cop falsified a blood report indicating that Annie was intoxicated while driving. She spent two-and-a-half years in prison for the DUI. Recently released, Annie now faces more harassment from someone seeking her demise. Kathryn Kohut hit all the right notes in her performance of Annie, a resilient mom who is devoted to her son Tate. Annie links up with Billy, who aids her in her sleuth work. An obstacle which Annie must overcome is her formidable mother-in-law, Elizabeth Hale. A wealthy dowager and philanthropist, Elizabeth has become attached to her grandson during the spell in which Annie was in prison. Elizabeth has the best line in the film when she tells a couple of scary-looking thugs, "Just smother her." A strength of the film was the blossoming relationship between Annie and Billy. There was a sly undercurrent of humor in their banter, and both characters were suspicious of each other at the outset. There were outstanding locations selected in the Pacific Northwest and an effective denouement on the beach that wrapped up the film's loose ends. The film is worth watching for the confessional of old Samuel Primm, who exonerates Annie and sets her on the road to redemption and triumph over the ultimate smother mother.
