Low Tide

Great movie! Very realistic and exciting. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing it. I'd love to know where they filmed as well! Beautiful scenery.

The acting in this was mediocre. The main characters are so stupid that it had me screaming at the tv. It was frustrating how the hold friend group just snitched on each other. And the ENDING they're of course gonna find the body they didn't even go that far out to sea. And they're gonna be prime suspects. I hate this movie for how ignorant theses kids are. And even the smart one is just less idiotic compared to the rest of them.

This film captures the summer at the Jersey Shore in a verbal and visually compelling way. The story and the twists and turns kept me interested throughout and the ending was most unexpected. Kevin McMullin created a film that both entertained and connected emotionally with me. His budget was under 1 million dollars, the actors were young, and he used many different locations. The logistics alone would made this almost impossible. I would not believe he did all this with that budget unless I saw it. He is a very talented writer, director and will be most interested in what he does next

The similar things I noticed about Low Tide (2019) and Undertow (2005) are first: the title, and secondly: a collection of gold coins in a white cloth and two poor brothers with no parents fight against an evil man trying to get the coins. Also the final climax of the films both looked similar. Roger Ebert said Undertow was a Masterpiece. Undertow's influence can be seen in Low Tide. (Please watch both movies before you judge my statements) I really liked Low Tide, it stands on it's own as an amazing film. The plot is completely original and the acting is brilliant.

This is a bad movie. An unsympathetic bunch of kids steal stuff from unoccupied houses. When they come upon a treasure of coins greed gets them. A silly romance with a strange looking girl. After suffering through the unlikable characters, the showdown. The whole thing came to nothing. What happened after the bad boy was shot?

Its story is kinda good but it has a very bad ending the worst part of the movie is when she asks him do yo even like me and he don't says any thing

Well done, complete movie. I'm going to stop reading user reviews because there are too many immaterial immature complaints especially about endings. I guess people are accustomed to spoon fed material and can't think for themselves. The end is perfectly acceptable here, and the rest of the movie, gets a B+ for all-around good entertainment.

Really tight story to tell. they succeed to maintain that itchy feeling for being chase by red and still maintain this warm summer vibe. The adventure feels really fun at the same time this story goes on. Every character seems doing a pretty good performance either. a good fast movie after all.

I really enjoyed this film from the acting to the screenplay it was extremely well done. I loved how realistic it was and cohesive. It told an excellent and realistic story that captivates the audience the entire time. I didn't get bored or think to myself "oh only in Hollywood" which is a relief from so many films that are far to unbelievable which leave me thinking is this for kids because its fantasy. The older I get the more I appreciate well thought out stories that are realistic that make me feel like this is all possible which in the end makes it a great story. The whole thing had so much heart and the actors did a great job all the way through. I typically don't like hearthrob guys in movies because they can get away with horrible acting but the main character does a great job playing his part and I give him props for that. He has a lot of talent and seems to choose movies that require skill and have a message or meaning which will leave him with a fulfilling career which certainly looks bright and that goes for the rest of the kids in the movie too. They all did an excellent job playing the part and especially the Cuban kid who is hilarious but does an excellent job at switching from funny guy to bad guy.

Fun ride! I really enjoyed the writing. Had a heavvy THE OUTSIDERS vibe more than any amblin 80s film I see comped- a filmmaker playfully aware of the artifice and in such command of the camera- lovely shot progression and cinematography. THEY ARE PIRATES!
