If you are a teenage girl full of dreams about your prince charming, and also if you don't caret to watch a movie with bad actuations and bad performances then I think you will probably like this movie. But what happens when you like to watch good movies? with good performances, great stories, fun dialogs, and you know, those kind of movies that doesn't make you feel like you have lost your time, what happens then? well, you might get up of your sit, turn off your TV and say mentally something like "oh God, I have lost me valious time, and I want it back!!" Well, you are probably not going to think that but you are going to feel like that, so the problem is that if your not a teenage girl that get fascinated with poor romance movies, then this movie will make you loose your time, anyway if you are interested in a good romance movie I recommend you "If Only" its....... wordless.

Somehow, Amanda Bynes is always good in comedies, and this one does not disappoint. I love the parts where she and Jamie-Lynn Sigler fight over the rock star guy. Really funny. Bynes is not pretty but looks great in a bikini and convincing as an island-type of girl, which suits the story as it has an island resort setting. Jonathan Bennett looks handsome and very likable as the shy and nervous lovable guy who has a crush on his best friend. Chris Carmack is cool as the vain and spoilt rock star. Both guys and the girls look great on camera. Even with no story, it is great to see beautiful people running around the beach :) It is a happy movie that keeps you smiling out of the cinema. The songs aren't great but the story is sweet and light-hearted. I'm surprised by the PG-13 rating. To me it is definitely a PG movie, great for tween.

Beach blanket bingo. Here we go again. Jenny and Ryan graduate from high school and spend their summer working on a beautiful island along the Caribbean. A rock star shows up and when he falls off a boat, Jenny rescues him and the two appear to be stranded on a remote island. When Jenny realizes they're still on the island, she tries to fool the rock star so as to have him all for herself. Enter her rival and eventually her boyfriend. When the truth finally emerges, the rock star threatens lawsuit, but his nasty manager wants to use the situation to concoct a story for publicity purposes. Let's say the ending is where everyone gets what they deserve. The scenery is beautiful but hit the deck on this one.

I saw the updated Shakespeare/de-Vere play "She's the Man", and saw the trailer for this flick. I'd been wanting to rent it at Blockbuster because it looked like it might be worth a chuckle or two. So there I am in the local Safeway, buying some cereal and milk when I spot the "Love Wrecked" DVD on the impulse rack for three bucks. I'm thinking there's a reason it's $3 (American), but I'm also thinking "Meh, how bad could it be?" I mean, it's got to have at least a couple laughs in it, right? Right? Err... I grinned here and there, but, well, maybe it's just the dude in me, I'm not sure, because I really like the romantic comedy genre, but this film seemed to fall a little flat. The direction was okay. It could have been better, but it is what it is. The acting for the genre is actually fine. But the story premise wasn't played out to its fullest. I mean, this had the potential to be a really hilarious film, but the gags and story just seemed to plod along from one superficial "chicks fighting over dude" joke to the next. I don't know. Maybe I'm being too unfair to the film. I'm not sure I could've done a better job with the script at hand. Then again, I probably wouldn't do any worse. At least I only paid a few bucks for a copy. If you must watch it, borrow it from a friend, or check out the libraries copy.

Not one redeeming feature. A vaguely appealing scenario that amounts to nothing at all. No characters, just cardboard cutouts. No touching moments. No laughs at all — I was even in the mood to laugh, and still didn't laugh. I'm embarrassed to review it, because reviewing it requires admitting that I watched it! Still not sure how I ended up even sitting through it, really. Stilted dialogue, limp gags and punchlines, contrived character interactions. Truly, a movie doesn't get any more pointless. It might be uglier, or more offensive; it might be more incomprehensible, or more annoying ... but this film takes the prize for just being pointless.

I wouldn't say this movie changed my life or anything, but it was very cute and romantic. I also enjoyed seeing "Carlton" from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. I think that this is the first time I've seen him in something other than that show. Amanda Bynes is absolutely adorable in this film. She is slowly becoming one of my favorite young actresses. Jamie-Lynn Sigler is great as well. This movie had a "Disney Channel" feel to it. I thought it was like something that you would see that would have the tag "Disney Channel Original movie." However, the movie was entertaining and I really did enjoy it. I would recommend it to anyone who was in the market for a sweet lighthearted film.

Lovewrecked is an unexpected surprise. The scenery was very beautiful...Dominican Republic now seems like a perfect summer vacation. Story: Jenny (Amanda Bynes) is nuts about this rock star Jason Masters. Later on she hears that he is going on a mini-cruise ship, so she gets a job their...FAST FORWARD...Jenny and Jason gets shipwreck on an supposedly abandon island. Later on Jenny discover that on the other side of the island is where her resort that is working at is. Since she is a Mad hard core fan of Jason, she decided not to tell him that they are really not stranded to win him over. her arch rival Alexis pretends to be shipwreck too once she discover what Jenny is doing. Chaos occurs!!! I love the part when Alexis and Jenny battle each other for jason. The fart scene is hilarious as well!!! I got to say, Amanda Bynes is hilarious. She is so wholesome and makes this movie very fun. If she wasn't in this film, Lovewrecked would have submarine. I love her facial expressions, she does whatever it takes to get a laugh. This movie isn't as funny as She's the Man, but still worth the money. The one better factor of Lovewrecked is you get to see her in a biniki very often. This movie is one of the cheer me up kinda movies. I smile when I left the theater. Every film I have seen her in, I have so far enjoyed immensely. It doesn't make sense how Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff is more famous than her. But sometimes life is just unfair

I'm not a total teen movie, chick flick freak or anything...but I watched this movie and must admit that it wasn't anything offensive. And frankly, I find most teen movies and chick flicks do offend me. So this was quite a surprise. I liked Amanda in "She's the man!", thought that she did a decent job, and she seams to have no shame in making a fool out of herself in this movie. If you're looking for something very light and with nothing bad in it, then this might be a good movie to see once (as I'm so used to intense, sad and depressing pictures set in cold, dark, Eastern European castles where vampires are always popping up). Jenny is a bookish girl from Massechusetts, about to enter into medical school, right after she finishes her summer school job program (along with her best of friends', Ryan). Set in a romantic Caribbean, paradise like resort, that is where she and Ryan are to spend the rest of their summer working at the Hotel. Although, suddenly something disturbs what should have been the best time for Ryan to make a move on Jenny (because he's always had a crush on her since they were kids), when a Rock star comes to stay at the Hotel for 2 days on a layover to one of his other gigs. Jenny has been waiting to be swept off of her feet by a man all of her teen life, and she's been fantasizing over this Rock star meeting her and somehow loving her that whole time. Realising that this might be her last chance in the world to get this kind of opportunity: She stows away pretending to be a waitress on one of the Hotels' private boats which Mr.Rock star will be dinning in that night. Just then a storm hits the island, somehow her and Mr.Rock star end up in a life boat together. They wake up the next morning and find that they are marooned. Jenny realizes that this could be the perfect chance to make the man of her dreams realize he "loves" her... Meanwhile, back at the resort, Jenny's worst enemy is working hard to find out her secret and destroy her... Yes, other people have been complaining that this movie is too predictable. But on the other hand, there's nothing wrong with a little bit of light-hearted humor, plus an innocent, nice guy getting the girl in the end.
