Lovers Lane

Lovers Lane is a independent horror film that I never knew about until I found out about Anna Faris(Scary Movie,Smiley Face,Emoji Movie)and how she made her film debut in this tiny little slasher film so what did I do;after a while after noticing it,I bought it online and a few days later it came and I watched it. The film is a complete slasher film that has all of the typical 90's stuff(kids having sex in there car at make out point and then a man brutally murders them). This film was amazing and considering my first time,quite intense. Now,obviously the film cant avoid its cheesiness but over all it is a very good horror film was a good twist and story and oh as for Anna Faris being in her basically first film,she was very very good like always and I'm excited to see her in The Emoji Movie. Lovers Lane,guys,you have to see cause when i say its one of my fav's..its one of your favs

I think this film rocks, People!!! What is wrong with you? I challenge any of you to produce, direct, or star in a movie, any movie that can even be made into a screenplay to be viewed by millions! Give the people credit where credit is due! It certainly deserves more than a 1 or 2 like too many of you are so easily rating it. Think about the work these actors/directors put into it! I give this film a 9 out of 10!

This is an obsolute MUST SEE movie! The camerawork was outstanding- reminded me alot of On Golden Pond. The atmospheric surroundings had a terrifying Exorsist feeling to them, and the acting -- WOW! I thought I was watching a Francis Ford C. movie, but was shocked to find out it was just some run-of-the-mill studio hack with a fantastic eye for horror, and a gormet flavor for scary. One thing to really keep an eye on is mysterious, tricky character of Ward Lamson. He's the character that eventually falls out of the car door, killed by the mysterious killer. Simply facinating work by a deeply skilled actor. I'd just like to add that if any of you are searching for a freaky, over-the-top horror adventure, Lovers Lane is the movie to get! Sell those plane tickets, forget those dinner plans, and don't bother with any other movie. Instead, take a trip down Lovers Lane!

When i first saw this i saw it with my friend on Austar and thought it was good for a low budget horror flick, with popular actress Anna Farris best known for her roles as Cindy Campbell in Scary Movie 1,2 and 3. I have recently bought this on DVD and thought it was excellent. I agree with others this show is better than expected. 9 out of 10

I usually like low-budget slashers, if they are fun, scary, and have good gore. Well, this stupid video pic was very dry, slow, badly-acted, and the ending was sooo confusing and the script was sooo bad...I could go on for hours about how terrible this movie is. True, it tries to seem more like an eighties slasher bash rather than the more modern "Scream" bullc***, but it still doesn't work and I just didn't like it at all.

Lovers Lane was an entertaining horror movie. True the story is played out beyond belief but it doesn't really matter here. The acting is surprisingly good for a straight to video slasher flick. One of the great things about this movie is that the blond chick from saved by the bell the new class gets topless. Another great thing is that Anna Faris, Cindy from SCARY MOVIE, makes a really hot blond. If you're in the mood for a horror movie somewhat like those lovable 80s movies then this one is definitely worth a rent.

the first time i saw this movie i actually rented it, at full new release price, and hated it. I thought it was idiotic and just plain bad. I feel it may have been due to the fact that I had paid four bucks to rent it. A couple months later I found it on sale at a blockbuster for 1.99 and even though I didn't like the movie I bought it anyway and I have since watched it numerous times and now it is one of my top 'guilty pleasures'. the ending still doesn't make complete sense but all the goofy dialogue and the twists and turns have made this movie a classic b-movie,the average person hates it but it appeals strongly to a certain population. this movie contains Anna Ferris from Scary Movie fame and is dressed in a cheerleader outfit that she wears on dates and around town (even though if you watch closely, no one else in the school is wearing the uniform, she must be the schools only cheerleader.), and it feature Sarah Lancaster from the new Saved by the Bell as bitchy vamp who likes to wear short skirts (her * scene is a body-double, it says so in the credits.). This little movie needs to be viewed more than once to appreciate it.

Dumb, slow, cheap, copy of "I know what you did last summer". The lines are so predictable, the plot doesn't connect to the film's end. I got so bored after the first hour and it took a lot of strenght not to press "stop" on the remote. Not even worth renting it. Save your money for a real horror movie.

I expected "Lovers Lane" to be pure crap,but I was pleasantly surprised.Of course the plot is pretty stupid and unoriginal and the characters are our usual annoying slasher fodder,but I found here some things to like.Some scenes are actually suspenseful and the film is never dull.Unlike politically correct Hollywood's slasher movies this one contains some nudity,foul-mouthed language and good gore.Worth checking out,if you like slasher movies!

Of course, we've heard the story before, a killer on the loose trying to kill the teens in the town. Some survive, some don't. The killer here has come back after 13 years, to kill the children of the victims he killed 13 years before. Original ha? The actors in the movie are not so good, but they're better than some. Anna Faris stars here and she's quite good. (You might know her from Scary Movie 1 & 2 and let me just say she looks much better with brown/black hair.) Riley Smith is okay too. The movie reminded me just a little of Cherry Falls. (Cherry Falls, is a great movie, so that's not a bad thing.) Lovers Lane, (It's called, I'm Still Waiting For You, here in the UK) is definitely a good movie, especially one for a straight to DVD/Video - TV Movie and I give it a 7/10.
