While somewhat different than Love Story, the same concept applies. This can also be compared to a Nicholas Sparks movie. There were some artistic moments that helped the movie. The love story followed the cycle of a tree. So it bloomed in Spring than slowly died for winter, (good symbolism). I also enjoyed the characters and their acting. The two main characters do well with what seemed to be a pretty simple script. The photos help tell the story. The photos express the love between the characters and Haruto's journey of self discovery for his love of photography. This is a tear jerker for sure, so if you love a good love story than this is the right movie for you. It's about 30 minutes of joy, and an hour and a half of crying so have plenty of tissues nearby.

To begin, it's just perfect it's no to dramatic in the romantic terms and not to slow, the female protagonist didn't have a bad personality and upfront her problems well, it's more sad than dramatic but you really feel the emotions that they have, and the male protagonist it's really nice, he didn't give up and truly loved her, overall really nice not boring, not cringe in the romantic parts and well amazing, I really recommend if you like romance even if it's kinda sad it's worth every second, I think it's one of the best romance movies I've ever seen and hootaru.... :,) I wish I meet someone like him one day I'm truly amazed.

Such a sweet movie. Of course it's not that good because doesn't developed the love story, everything went very fast , but the characters have chemistry and they're actually really cute together. I really like the colors and the photograph of the movie, love this kinda of Japanese movies they always pass the feelings and make me feel emocional.

I liked how the main characters encouraged each other. I liked how they started to enjoy each other's company more and more. The honest emotions of what happened next and the portrayal of the emotions was very touching and done to really invoke empathy. It was really surprising to see what happened and how things progressed. Just seeing how things can happen in life and the way love can unfold is something else. It's hard to talk about this movie without giving away spoilers. The movie's end other than the obvious emotions, I like how it drew from nostalgia and appreciating the other person.

The acting was really good and the plot of this movie was amazing. It's was really worth my 2 hours of the day. I love how they're showing so many different topics. The fear of running out of time, the feeling not to be good enough, the fear of getting older, the fear that if you're not perfect that you will lose the person you love the most, to hurt the one person you love so they can move on from you even tho you love them so much, and more. It's amazing how it is connected with the spring and how much you can love a person even tho you just met them! Love like that is precious! And the sad thing about that is that this kind of love is rare nowadays. I hope everyone who hasn't found the one will find them soon. Because everyone deserves to be loved like that. Thank you.

I was so touched by this film that i cried like a baby at the end of the film. Such a powerful emotional film that i would suggest to anyone to watch it. The film is so good and the actors are quite good if not excellent. I really love this movie. This is one of the Japanese film finest work...

Much better than i was expecting and surprised me a lot. The story is very sad, but also very beautiful!! Man i was crying a little in some scenes. The acting is beautiful, congrats to the main couple and everybody else!
