Watched this flick first time in 13 years. Grew up listening the music and love every bit of the album. From groovy beats like AAHUN AAHUN & TWIST, to the sweet CHOR BAZAARI , to the loving AAJ DIN CHADDEYA , and YEH DOORIYAAN. Music, as usual, plays an important part for Imtiaz's film here but the film lacks a strong narrative. Kind of, something feels missing or sometimes dragged. The old era story was little but good. Simple, the music makes the film to shine for a certain period. The storytelling is not as par as of other Imtiaz's film like JAB WE MET or ROCKSTAR or TAMASHA. (Ps. TAMASHA is loved by many but there was something missing. Same is the case with this one but TAMASHA is much better)

Story is beautiful. Performances are amazing. Direction is great as usual, no one can question Ali's film making. In short, an adorable love story. A must watch for the people who ask for positive love story and the reflection of the society.

I had really high expectations from this movie since all my friends who saw it back in the days love it. It was just disappointing. The love story was neither intersting nor inspiring. A typical story of two confused people who get together-break up-get together- break up and then realise that oh it was love. For someone who made jab we met and highway, this story lacked substance and even acting. The good part-the songs ofcourse even though they were misplaced and unnecessary.

I am a Saif-Ali Khan fan, his comic timing is unprecedented. But at least some use of his humour would be generous. I couldn't believe that I watched this movie till the end. I admit I was ill the day I watched the movie, but I could have sworn I came out of the cinema feeling worse! Turning around and asking your family/friends after every 20 minutes: "Do you have any idea what the point of this movie is?" is not what the director's intentions were, I assure you. It may have been trying to portray that love today and love "back in the day" are the same thing, but the director did a terrible job displaying it on-screen. Deepika apparently plays a British girl as one of the other comments mentions. I did not realize she played a British girl till I read that comment. Her Indian accent in NO WAY portrays a British girl, or even an Indian girl who has settled in England. I implore you to think twice before buying tickets. It is a rough ride, and sitting through it all is quite a task.

The movie has Amazing locations; San Fransisco,London and of course, Delhi.The music is foot-tapping and really cool,Chor-Bazaari Especially. There are some Superb Performances, Saif Rocks, Deepika is Touching and Rishi Kapoor is in form. The direction is very decent and direct,Imtiaz Ali has the talent man. both the women are very hot, Deepika and Herlyn, both were beautiful and sexy. And Most importantly... "Fantastic Script: crisp, modern and funny, with some great one liners!" A Great Entertainer: 7/10. Second Half Drags a little, but thats OK

The story line up is usual we see in most bollywood love stories these days and particularly saif films.The film seems to be hardly any difference from his early Salaam Nameste.Boy meets girl!came closer to each other but decided to break up happily due to their jobs and career ambition.But despite of this,they keep in touch with each other and they realized they are still in love with each other.she broke up her marriage with her boss whose character has been played by rahul khanna.the boy made it to his dream job but found something missing which didn't let him concentrate on his job.he goes to meet her in India and rest is happy ending.A parallel love story runs in flashback with the main story.The flashback story inspires and brings on track the main story.The film is good and worth watching once but not having any difference from meantime love stories films.saif & deepika has given their good performance along with rishi kapoor.cinematography and colour choice is awesome.

I watch this me after 12 year later but still i able to connect very well the story is little bit different from other flims. Must watch it.

Imtiaz Ali's vision might be tough for few to understand and understandably they wont like or get it. But those who gets the depth of each sequence what he is trying to portray on screen will always will return happily after watching movie. Coming to this movie, from my point of view it is one of Imtiaz's best work . Saif is outstanding and his best work after omkara without any doubt. Deepika was also great. Music was faboulous. But the real star is script and Imtiaz. His way of depicting human emotion in this movie is amazing (for instance harleen drinking black tea at midnight interval shot and many more). If you feel emotion & love deeply , you will not be disappointed !!! 10 Years down the line , still watch it time to time to reignite the understanding of real love and reminiscing my college days when watched it for 1st time and being in love ..
