Its just good, cute, fun. The cast is way cool, from Timothy Dalton to Heather Locklear. (Boy, has time ever been good to her!) The plot is a vehicle for laughs and thats all, but thats plenty good enough. The stars? They ARE Bugs and Daffy. No doubt about it. Everyone else plays second fiddle to the cartoon characters. I have seen better interaction between animated characters and live actors, but thats OK. The rest of it makes up for the slight lack in this area. Sneaking certain characters into the thing, making cameos, is well done and adds to the fun. I think "fun" defines this film very well. Who will enjoy this movie? Well, little kids certainly. And big kids, the ones that, like me, were raised on Looney Tunes. And, having said that, well ... Tha-tha, tha-tha, thats all folks.

I really enjoyed watching this film. There will be SPOILERS in this comment so BEWARE. I think the jokes went by so fast that at times I could not catch them all. I did laugh almost constantly. Some of the funniest parts were Bugs Bunny's remdition of the shower scene from Psycho and a quick scene with Scooby and Shaggy fighting with Matthew Lillard over how he portrayed Shaggy in the Scooby Doo movie.
I did have one concern and that was this film does have some scene that are a bit risque at times. Most of the women are barely wearing clothes at times and Daffy even pulls off some woman's underwear (this scene is hard to see at first b/c it goes by pretty fast). Besides this the movie would be great for children and adults alike. I enjoyed it enough that I will probably watch it again.

Cartoon / live action film with a surprise.
There is a mind blowing section of this film that pays tribute to several 1950s science fiction films (The Man From Planet X, This Island Earth, Forbidden Planet, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Robot Monster) not to mention a couple of 1960s TV shows (Mission Impossible, Doctor Who).
Frankly, I am not really a fan of Looney Tunes, I don't dislike it but it is just not my thing. But if you want to see some old science fiction props and people brought back to life in 2003 - this is the film for you!

Looney Tunes Back In Action is a 2003 animated comedy featuring Brendan Fraser,Jenna Elfman,Steve Martin,Ron Pearlman,Joan Cusack and Timothy Dalton. A former police officer named DJ Drake(Fraser) teams up with Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny to track down his father (Dalton) who happens to be a former spy agent turned actor from the evil Mr Chairman(Martin)who wants the blue monkey diamond.
Some people may think this is a sequel to Space Jam but in actual fact its not really a sequel, since its a stand alone film. Steve Martin who plays the villian in this film was a mashup of Jim Carrey meets Mr Magoo.
Micheal Jordan and Matthew Lillard make special appearances in this film.

and actually makes a good kids movie. I was not expecting much from this movie since it did terrible at the box office. But, it turned out to be interesting and I'm sure young kids would really like it. We see plenty of the WB cartoon characters, with the two main ones, Buggs Bunny and Daffy Duck, join forces with Brandon Frasier and Jenna Elfman to hunt down a magical diamond. Then there are many cameos thrown in, with the best one being Steve Martin as the villain. The story is silly, but at least it made sense, which a lot of movies don't now days.
FINAL VERDICT: Kids will like it and the plot goes with the type of movie this is. I was able to follow what happened and thought it was OK.

If you don't like this film, you aren't a true Looney Tunes fans, people must like space jam cause it was 90's and it starred one of the greatest athlete in the world but this movie stars great cast of people that everyone is not interested, they probably haven't watched it yet! It is a great film, and is much more high quality and it takes place in the real world unlike space jam which was in another place with aliens.

I liked the movie. The looney tunes in the movie are funny, especially bugs bunny and Daffy duck.
The last act with bugs and Daffy going against Marvin the Martian was the best

There are definitely no "slow burns" in this fast ultra-ha-ha animated/live-action movie. This does not have the richness or the slickness of Roger Rabbit, but it does deliver a fun ride with hardly a pause to catch the in-jokes and all the funny stuff going on.
All the WB characters are here, with some having only walk-ons, others cameos, a few that are supporting the silliness, and Bugs and Daffy starring. The "live" cartoon characters performed by real people are generic with only Steve Martin memorable and stealing the skin and bones show.
There is enough to satisfy fans and it moves like lightning for the very young. It is a good looking throwback with mostly the type of humor that made these "Toons" so beloved over the years. Their original cartoons are still playing and selling, proving they are a timeless bunch that will bring joy to the world forever.
