My daughter is 11 and loved the movie we all have watched together...These actors have chemistry and we can feel it strongly...we all think the first movie is the best...Travolta's entertaining the kids makes all remember ours fathers and ourselves.
Great movie, I just bought the DVD on eBay too bad no Blu-ray...always cry and laugh with this movie.
Thanks to everyone that gave his best to it happen!

Oh who doesn't like this movie? Kirstie Alley is charming, and John Travolta is a babe! Bruce Willis is hilarious as the voice of Mikey. "You must be thing that same thing I am" "Yeah, lunch!" A sweet light comedy that everyone should see. I guarantee that Mikey will cheer you up.

A light comedy funny enough and special effects in utero that still hold on today. Cute film, kid and Kristie! The boy was Bruce Willis? Oh, just the voice. ouf! Travolta was flying in the film. What's not to like?

I have got to admit that i have wanted to watch this movie for a long time just because of John Travolta (who i adore in "Grease" and "Two of a Kind") and when i saw "Look who is Talking" available in Netflix i never wasted any time. But damn how awesome the performances by Travolta and especially by Kirstie Alley were delivered, and this one did feel like a romantic comedy...but with a very special baby involved in the middle.
Bruce Willis way of dubbing Mikey was hilarious, and i found myself laughing out loud many times because of it. I didn't know babies could be this sassy!

Look Who's Talking is a movie with a story that's about as light as air, but John Travolta and Kirstie Alley have excellent chemistry and Bruce Willis is frequently hilarious as the voice of baby Mikey.
Alley plays a woman pregnant with the baby of a man who refuses to leave his wife and, when she goes into labor on a big city sidewalk, Travola's cab driver picks her up and takes her to the hospital. He's confused as her husband, so he helps out with the birth and the two start and love/hate relationship that we've all seen in every romantic comedy since the dawn of time. The gimmick here is that Mickey, Alley's newborn baby narrates the movie for us via his thoughts (as voiced by Bruce Willis) on the budding relationship.
For such a ludicrous story, the script manages to be pretty clever and amusing at times and comes with some great supporting performances from Olympia Dukakis, Twink Caplan, and George Segal as Alley's mother, best friend, and lothario lover.

Life from a baby's point of view. How thoughtful! I think this is one of the most innovative and delightful movies ever made... though I may be a little biased since, though I don't have any of my own, I love babies.
The only problem I had was the second "Molly, I'm gonna burst if I don't kiss you soon..." "Tough!" scene. Unnecessary and catches you off guard.
But overall... this is just darling if you love babies.
I originally got it when I traded another film with my brother when I was younger... not really realizing just how sweet it was until I got to my late teens and started thinking about babysitting and being a mother, etc.
I'm glad I have it in my collection. What else can I say? :o)
