I hated this movie; thought it was ridiculous, especially its ending. It left me thinking I'd wasted 2 hours of my life. I didn't see the point to this movie and keep waiting for more
only for the movie to end without any climax.
Thought the cast seemed good but none of the acting was good; I just didn't buy any of it.
Felt like movie was trying to be like The Departed...but ended up being a very sad attempt at it and very disappointing as a result.
The script is has so many ridiculous story lines and the ending is weak. Don't see it!!

I have been wanting to see this for some time, there is just something special about British action movies, the language is just so much cooler and the characters for some reason gets more evil without being anything different or doing anything different then what they would if it had been an American flick.
This is just moving a bit slow, there are some very nice scenes and good dialogs, but the pace of the movie is a bit boring. It never really gets into fourth gear, sometimes gets up to the third, but never higher and that is a shame. The acting is great, the characters also great, the scenery very fitting and the story also quit good, but the fast paced, hard hitting action is missing.

It's too bad the rest of the film was not as interesting as the graphics used in the opening and closing credits (I don't think talking about the closing credits can be described as a "spoiler"). This is the kind of film I would describe as a British version of the American genre "mumble-corp". It's one of the few times I wished I had set my preferences to show subtitles along with the English version of the film. The greatest crime perpetrated in this film is that good actors capable of so much better actually got paid for the rote performances they all turned in. The British gangster genre is something that stands on its own for the sheer villainy of the bad guys. However, the histrionic levels of punishment meted out by these gangsters is so over the top that you have to ask yourself: "Was that really necessary?". In the words of the late Toronto film critic, John Harkness, "Wait until it comes out in video and then don't rent it."

This movie turn out to be a surprise for me. I saw very well-known actors in other perspective. Sometimes, the viewer have certain stereotypes connected to actors, and we only see them or only comprises them as character "x" or "y" for many years. We have that printed in our memories. For me, this film cut that bond and show a new deepness of those amazing actors. Collin Farrell, for instance, is becoming more respected and competent. Thanks to characters like that, I can see beyond his spectacular looks. And the loneliness and persecution that Keira Knightly character live, and all the drama involved, made my interest growth. And show that the actor's life is not always about the glamour. Over all, I find this quality modern dilemma movie very entertaining.

London boulevard is a British crime gangster drama. Starring Colin Farrell in a role which he has played several times before, and he is comfortable playing these anti-hero types. This film with a running time of over 1 hour 4 minutes, feels a lot longer than its time. And with several sub plot lines thrown into the film, it does feel somewhat rushed in senses.
Also it is quite boring at times, despite not being too much of a fan of British dramas. Mainly having watched for Farrell, he does a well job along with the other members. London Boulevard is a film which is for a certain audience yet has seemingly felt already forgotten.

Great movie from beginning to climax. The last minute of the movie was terrible. This movie could have easily been an 8 or 9 if it wasn't for the lackluster finale.
Colin Farrell did a great job at the role in this movie; as with most of his films.
I get it directors, you guys want to shock and awe. The general public does not though. It's been a very long time since I have seen a good solid movie(that wasn't created by Disney)with a good start, climax, and finale.
Watch the movie, you'll like all of it but the ending as well!

Despite a great cast assembled things just don't quite gel in London Boulevard. A contemporary gangster flick also doubles as a homage to previous older and better British criminal underworld movies. Most of the soundtrack is from the 1960's and feels out of place. A star from the world of entertainment holed up in a fancy London house befriended by a gangster. Where have i seen that before?
There are some great performances by the actors playing the roles of the secondary characters but Farrell has done much better and Knightly is poor. Thefilm is nicely shot but the plot and editing is haphazard. Farrells visits to Knighly charting the development of their relationship are punctuated by scenes of graphic violence. Not that i am advocating such behaviour but these scenes acted as a jolt and stopped me from switching off. The main problem is not with the ending but with the predictability of the plot. The only questions were who and when, both of which i guessed correctly.

Really stylish and interesting movie. Great actors, great soundtrack, good plot. Liked it a lot when I saw it for the first time.

So what was in the director's mind when he started this movie? Forget Guy Richie ...let's make yet another London gangster flick .... so lots of swearing .....like c*nt and * but that's alright because they're said by some good looking actors. Not much of a plot ... but a great soundtrack from the 60's that has nothing to do with the time line of the movie. So who could think of such a thing? Only the screenwriter from the wildly over-rated film The Departed. - Hollywood's shallow remake of Hong Kong's brilliant Infernal Affairs. Colin Farrell deserves better material than this. The charismatic and engaging gangster from In Bruges is here hijacked by a senseless and shallow screenplay. A waste of the actors' time ... and a waste of ours too.
