Some weeks in the life of a clumsy and a bit chubby ten year old boy falling in love with a socially superior almost 11-year old beautiful girl. Credible acting of both of them. Self-esteem issues that could be quite commom in boys that age when girls often are taller then them. Worth watching for boys that age or older and girls that age or younger.

This movie so aptly and perfectly takes you on a ride into the hearts of every man, irrespective of age and size. It tells the story of how it genuinely IS when you first fall in love and visually shown getting "butterflies in your tummy". It is the MOST raw form of love depicted through the eyes of young Gabe for the beautiful Rosemary Telesco, (Couldn't help but say the entire name) who I realized I fell in love with by the end of the film. First crush, heartbreak, jealousy and everything you wish did and didn't feel when you first fell in love. It's a coming together of love and also innocence, importantly, and a story that you might never forget.(I didn't!) This one is highly recommended!

Its a real nice movie which you can watch again and again. I have watched this movie around 7-8 times and still can watch it every time it comes. The work done by Josh ,express the feeling of the guys who are not used to hanging out with girls and then suddenly when they start liking somebody they just can't handle them and start acting weird around her. I mean it couldn't be anymore cute and romantic which you could watch anytime and i seriously mean anytime. Charlie ray did a very fine job and i am surprised that i haven't seen her in other movies. She along with josh have made this a very excellent movie. The portrays every feeling one has during love i.e. the blooming period where the love starts to blossom , then the jealousy and heart break . You surely got to watch this movie if you like romantic comedy.

I knew this movie from my friend, he said that this is an extraordinary movie, he said that I should watch this movie. Then I followed his recommendation so I watched Little Manhattan in Saturday night with my girlfriend. I enjoyed every second of this movie, this is very extraordinary romantic comedy, a love story about 11 years old. I really fell in love with this movie but there is one thing that is very disappointing and she was Charlie ray, not because she's acting in this movie but where is she now? When first time I saw Litte Manhattan, I think this sweet girl could be the rising star like Josh Hutcherson did. I just hope she can play the new role in her new movie, perhaps Little Manhattan 2. Who knows? Overall I think Little Manhattan is the best romantic comedy of all time. 90 minutes of extraordinary love story.

This is a movie about a 10 year old boy and his thoughts. But a teenager can relate his thinking with their own. So i wold like to recommend it to teenagers a lot

I wasted my time watching this.. Why gave it so many stars is beyond my comprehension. THIRD CLASS MOVIE

Don't be fooled by the apparent cuteness of two 11 year olds falling in love! The bad acting makes this one hard to watch. Confusing reactions to poorly delivered lines made me cringe like I was listening to nails on a chalk board. Most of the time it seemed like the kids had no idea why they were saying what they were saying so there was no variation in the tone of their interaction or the movie in general. The little boy was the worst and the little girl seems to have been told one too many times in her life that she's a good actress. Gosh, this movie was so hard and frustrating to watch! I suppose I could be nicer since these are just children but then this wouldn't be an honest review now would it?

I figured since there were no quotes added, that i'd give some from the movie.. 1. There comes a moment in everyones life when everything changes and life is never the same again. 2. Love is not about ridiculous little words, it's about grand gestures. 3. How come all love has to end? 4. Remember the feeling, remember the wonder, remember your first love. 5. It only lasted two weeks, but when you're 11 years old it could be a lifetime. 6. Nothing is as big as your first love.

A sweet charming story about a 10 year old finding his first love in New York city. The movie is funny, adorable, tart romantic comedy showing what falling in love for the first time is. Characters are fine and actors have done a good job. The movie however rides on the crisp story, funny plot and simple but nice direction. Its an adorable and sweet (but yet not too sweet movie. Music does a good job to keep up with the changes in the mood of the characters; and good that it does not overdoes it. The movie is recommended for anyone who likes romantic comedies. It is definitely going to leave the sweetness of first love with you.
