In the December holidays ,Jan, a civil engineering student raised by his grandmother, has his eye on Liefling, but spoilt little rich girl Melanie has other plans up her sleeve. "Liefling the movie" is a movie featuring well-loved musicians and actors in South Africa. The storyline is built around Liefling and Jan and how their relationship grows over time, wit the support and guidance of their support structures (immediate family and friends).
The movie is set in Hartebeespoort (South Africa) and Lucerne (Switzerland); beautiful backdrops to the storyline. The movie features both new and nostalgic Afrikaans songs, and all South Africans should watch this highly energetic movie. The choreography was done brilliantly; go and watch the movie if you have not done it yet. It is a feel-good movie to be enjoyed by the whole family.
