For a while this was my favorite Lethal Weapon movie, then I began to realize it was'ent as good as I thought it was. The plot is non-existent, which is something I'm not too big on, but it still had a lot of good action. Hell, I practically did'nt know what the plot was until about the third time I watched it. There are some decent dialogue scene's, but not enough is focused on the bad guy's. And why was Joe Pesci in this one, hes completely useless to the entire plot. But beside's all that the action scene's are the best part of this movie. The freeway chase is cool, and the ending gunfight is superb. The first and second were a lot better than this one, but still is you wanna watch a movie that you dont have to focus an inch on plot and just action, see this one. 3.5/5

Murtaugh and Riggs are back. This time joined by Rene Russo's IAB Sgt that has martial arts skills and tough talking like Riggs is.
And Leo Getz is back over in having blonde hair and in the being a real estate agent who is selling the Murtaugh home there. As Roger wants to retire as the cases become more dangerous.
As an ex-cop that is now on the other side of the law and how he is determined to kill anybody that gets in his way there.
Not as good but the chemistry holds up.

Mel and Danny return as the cop duo this time against an ex cop drug smuggler and gun runner..Again Glover is near retirement but Mel makes sure he goes out with a bang..
Pesci returns as the pesty ex con for some comic relief. But Rene Russo as an internal affairs officer steals the show. The now famous battle scar scene is a classic and Russo proves to be quite the match for Mel. While it is a good movie..it doesn't match up to the other two in the series..on a scale of one to ten...6

In this second sequel to the popular Lethal Weapon, we find Murtaugh and Riggs teaming up with Leo and Lorna. Sometimes the action and sequences seem slow, but overall, this is a great installment. Rene Russo joins the cast that includes Mel Gibson, Danny Glover and Joe Pesci. This film and it's sequel were the highpoint of their careers.
Of course, Richard Donner returned to direct, and it makes the continuity flow well having the same director. The actors all seemed to work well with one another and really make the viewer believe what's happening. The ending of the film is really the best part, in terms of action.
When the movie was filmed, the housing project used for the last scenes had been abandoned for awhile, and Donner and Warner Bros. made good use out of it. The story is good and very thought provoking, having to do with automatic weapons.

Lethal weapon 3 is for me far weaker then previous two ones, gibson and glover still had chemisty in them but other staff for me was to loud and failed in its mission, pesci i know that he is great actor but in this films he is just distraction expecely in this film with that haircut and his lines were unfunny and he was waste of better time that could be spend on other characters or better plot,in some moments film become repipative and become to use staff from first two but not doing it in a better way, lethal weapon 3 is for me little dissapointing film compared to how much i liked previous installesments

Inside "Lethal Weapon 3" there is about fifteen or twenty minutes of great stuff. For three or four scenes Danny Glover gives a terrific and thought provoking performance. The story about gun violence and young people is terrific. It's just way too little of the movie. Most of "Lethal Weapon 3" is noise and bad jokes. There are some terrific stunt work and a lot of "It almost looks like he's doing that" moments. But for the most part, everthing is lost under Richard Donner's fake political "causes" and misdirection.

Not as great as the two first episodes of the saga, but still a really good and enjoyable movie...

Lethal Weapon 3 is another fantastic action movie. This one was made in 1992, starring Mel Gibson, Danny Glover, Joe Pesci, and Rene Russo. They are all fantastic actors and i think they are all excellent working together on doing an action movie like this. I give this movie 10 out of 10.

But still a great watch.
The series has moved away from the edgier action and drama and gone for more of a family comedy feel.
This is mostly delivered via Joe Pesci. He is super funny in this.
They have done a good job of maintaining a very high standard across the series but 3 is a small decline.

The franchise has grown into an action beat franchise and is more comical here compared to the first two films. Franchise films are difficult as studios dial up everything for the fans, often at the disservice of plot. The storyline here isn't as ambitious as the first film or outlandish as the second, but it's not horrible. Another character is introduced and Leo Getz is unleashed here. Not everybody's cup of tea, but I enjoyed seeing the two leads together again.
