this time the jolly old Leprechaun goes to Las Vegas. this one is quite a bit more funnier than the previous two. although not quite as good in storyline , but good nonetheless. in this one you actually get to see some people make wishes with the elusive gold coin, the coin get's passed from one person to another, and it always seems like the little Leprechaun is always one step behind,, the interesting thing in this one is that the leprechaun bites our "hero" in the arm,, and the "hero" has shades of becoming a fellow Leprechaun, interesting premise here, he actually starts to look a little bit like one, there is a lot of scenes in the casino,, and views of the Las Vegas Strip.. the Freemont Experience and a few of the Casino Hotels.. not a bad movie,, pretty funny.

After watching Leprechaun 2 and disliking it as a whole in comparison to the original, did not have expectations for this third film, However Leprechaun 3 is a better entry than the second film and possibly than the original. The tone here is much lighter and more comedic than horror compared to the second. It is still campy yet more entertaining. The Leprechaun has more clever lines and funny rhymes throughout. The two leads of Scott and Tammy are more likeable than the leads in the second film. Although weak acting, we come to expect from them. The setting of Las Vegas and the gimmick of the magic lucky coin with the characters having wishes was a solid touch. There seemed to be more of a plot and little subplots throughout that kept a certain engagement. These films are all quite predictable in the end but the payoff here was better.

This one is far campier than the first two movies and this makes for a more enjoyable film. One of the few movie series to actually improve with time. This one is so funny, I have a hard time categorizing it as a horror movie, but beware this still isn't something to show your young children.

This is a great comedy rather than horror film, the leprechaun is absolutely amusing! The characters are some of the funniest ones I've encountered in any film. Anyway, the Leprechaun is resurrected (from a statue in Las Vegas) and chases after a shopkeeper who attempted to steal his gold, one of the gold coins gets lost and winds up in a young college student's hands, after that it rolls arouns the casino where greedy characters attempt to exploit it (Creating some great situation comedy). Meanwhile, the Leprechaun is wild around Vegas, enjoying himself at the casino rather than killing people. Only towards the end does he bother chasing and blowing up, seducing, biting and clawing his way through the characters. The funniest (Or one of the funniest scenes is in the E.R. where a crooked doctor says: "This is a question of life and death! Do you have health insurance?"

Warwick Davis returns to his role as the spiteful leprechaun who'll kill anyone for his gold! This time the leprechaun must get back one of his gold coins which is making its way through the hands of patrons at the Lucky Shamrock Hotel & Casino. The third entry is not up to the level of Part 1 (whatever that was), yet features such surrealistic sites as the leprechaun impersonating Elvis, strolling amongst nudie bars, and taking up the part of an E.R. doctor. This installment has more of the leprechaun's delightful limericks and rhymes then its predecessors - and that is a definite plus. Skeeter rates it 3 out of 4, maybe 3 1/4 on St. Patrick's Day.

Once again the Leprechaun is revived, only to find that one of his precious golden Shillings is missing and the usual killing spree ensues. This time the action has moved to Las Vegas, making good use of The Strip and for me personally this is cool because I was last there in 1995. The film has better gore & wit than the first 2 entries, plus a bit of sex thrown in. When one of the main characters gets bitten by the Leprechaun he starts turning into one himself with hilarious results. This film really did make me laugh out loud, best in the series.
