Hands down, one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Starts off with a couple having sex. The woman is a pushing-50 year old full body tattooed chick with a pretty decent plastic figure. She should have starred in the film because after the credits the cast is replaced with a bunch of horrible, unattractive, untalented actors. But that's not the half of it. The story is just plain stoopid. The killer is this guy in a welder's mask which is never explained. Nor is it explained why he would wear such a heavy piece of metal. Sees like that would slow him down. But then logic is not part of this movie. The set up is basically the kids getting killed one by one with the use of different instruments. It's the most boring movie you will ever see.

Now this new slasher flick kicked ass! The movie has us meet a killer who wears a welders mask and slaughters anyone caught out in the woods surrounding a small mountain town. A group of friends all from high school reunite for a weekend bash at an isolated cabin and are subjected to several nasty murders. This one does not skimp out on the violence and the gore and has some eye popping kills! I think my favorite kill was where one of the young guys gets sliced open and then strangled with his own intestines. The machete to the head kill was great to see and with the killer using her dead body to wave at the other kids who run off. Lots of blood and gore in this one! Also It doesn't rely on a confusing storyline line either. The killers motive is simply because killing is fun. I kept waiting for some dark secret among the friends to come out and would the reasoning for the killing spree, but simply no connection, they are just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Fun seeing Felissa Rose playing a quirky character again, she is an absolute blast to watch! Overall fun movie!!

Late Checkout is a fast-paced, bloody, and insanely fun film. The cast is full of seasoned horror veterans and some wonderful new comers who absolutely shine. The cabin in which is takes place is the perfect backdrop for this style of movie. Who doesn't love a bunch of kids being hunted down in the backwoods protected only by a log cabin? The music written for this film gives it that (very necessary) metal-edge that great horror films contain. It feels very reminiscent of a film Rob Zombie may have had a hand in creating. Really fun, beautifully shot, and the kills are exactly what you. Absolutely recommend this to any horror-junkie looking for a new film to watch.
