Truly one of the top 10 worst movies I've ever seen. Yet it's also entertaining. Less than b grade acting, perhaps single takes, + + for creativity. Well done to the actors for upholding a poor storyline! All that said, worth a watch, if it's raining, and you are neither mobile, sober or otherwise offered immediate relief from your significant other! Enjoy! I can't think of 600 words to describe this movie though perhaps a cut and paste 30 times to save your souls from the time I wasted watching this garbage will suffice... The first two stories were comedic rather than horror. Acting was below par. Only the grandma in the second story did her part convincingly. Only the Sea Monkey story had a real "horror story", but the execution was not up to standard. Very low budget indeed. Skip this and watch something else. 4 stars given purely for Act II.

Beyond the three terror-filled tales that Last American Horror Show has to offer - Night of the Sea Monkey, Lamb Feed and Homewrecked - it also has horror royalty in the cast like Felissa Rose, Lynn Lowry and Arch Hall, Jr. Yes, that's right, the star of Eegah and The Sadist is in this as the grandfather of an entire town of cannibals ready to sacrifice any folks that wander in. Between that and Felissa going on a date with a man who claims to be Christian and ends up being anything but - and oh yeah, Lynn Lowry dissecting a sea monkey with an electric carving knife - there's some fun stuff in here. All of these stories started off as shorts which were assembled into an overall longer film with the Felissa-starring framing sequence. Of course, it's in no way as great as Amicus films or Trilogy of Terror, but you know that going in. In the old video rental days, this would have been a fine fifth film for your five for five bucks for five nights stack. And really, that's high praise around these parts.

Wow, this was bad! But wait, I am getting ahead of myself. I was initially lured in by the interesting movie cover/poster for this 2018 horror movie titled "Last American Horror Show". And being an avid horror fan, of course I sat down to watch the movie. That was a mistake, because this was a massive waste of time. First of all, the movie is very low budget, and the production value of the movie shows that all over. I mean, you can even see the shadow of a guy holding the microphone throughout the majority of the introduction scene of the movie. And they uses vintage footage from the Vietnam war as well. Wow, just wow. The story was pointless, and you really shouldn't torment yourself to sit through this. And it would have helped if the movie had an interesting character gallery. But that was not the case either. If this was a horror show, no wonder it was the last! It should be said, however, that the acting in the movie was, for the most parts, adequate and passable. But the fact that the actors and actresses had absolutely nothing to work with in terms of script or story was just staggering. I am rating this movie a staggering 1 out of 10 stars. It was just abysmal to sit through. In fact, truth be told, I didn't manage to endure the entire movie, I must admit that I valued my time on this Earth a bit too much to keep going. "Last American Horror Show" from writer and Michael S. Rodriguez came and went without any impact.

Saw this last night, read good things about it on this site but alas more rigged ratings on IMDB. Firstly the film itself, two pound budget, if it cost more I can't see where they would have used it. The acting, bad when it was bad, worse when it was worse. Now o don't mind cheap films, I have seen a lot of them but the acting in this was awful. The stories ranged from awful to just plain bad, in fact none of them were really good. Also the film makers should also realise that putting in cheap bloody effects will not take away t how bad this film is, also it didn't add anything to the movie either. Avoid this film at all costs. I wish I could give it a no star rating.

This low production, but a good example of independent horror shows promise with the stories (done as Act I, II, etc.). Lamb Feed was a good allegory of patriotism (made me think of Lusting's Uncle Sam concept) and Lynn Lowry's performance as aging and "badass" grandma (was not her best) but had some comedic relief. Felissa Rose, cult icon of the Sleepaway Camp fame in the "Act III" arc story of this anthology. Another highlight was Arch Hall Jr. of the Spider Baby fame. These actors appearances (not necessarily their acting, except Hall was great for Lamb Feed) was the best aspect of this film along with some interesting storylines (Night of the Sea Monkey and Lamb Feed). Since the low production, I feel the film suffered from editing, not having a strong transition, just name cards inbetween stories with occasional references to the arc storie. Nonetheless, if you support independent horror (like directors such as Rodriguez) it's worth a looksie.

Seriously... The acting in the movie is so Bad it's actually funny to watch... Feels like watching something from the 70s. Yes the worst actor in the movie is the lead actress Lyn. It's sad

1st of all I am not a horror film type of person, but I had the opportunity to meet some of the people involved in this film, so I decided to give it shot. I knew it was a low budget film and I sincerely did not have any high expectations, yet when you actually watch the entire film you will realize some the actors really did an outstanding performance, I seriously enjoyed the performance by Lynn Lowry, she certainly stole the show and made the film worth it. I am extreme upset and sad by the negative comments some people have left here, they forget that besides the fact that this is a film, there is real humans behind it working to make a living, is one thing not to like the film, but to get into insults and the appearance of the actors, it just shows how low of a human been someone can be. If you want to criticize the film is fine, but criticize the actor's appearance, is all time low only cowards use. This people are actors, not models. And in case anyone wonder, no I do I haven't had the pleasure to meet the actress I mentioned.

The description shows a promising cast of talent, which led me to believe I was in for a treat. But this comes off as nothing short of a high school film project, using actors he found on Facebook. In short, the acting is beyond terrible! I don't believe their supposed $1000 budget was even used.
