Kotee: the gift that keeps on giving - headaches, frustration, and a deep sense of disappointment. I walked in expecting a cinematic masterpiece, thanks to the "stellar" reputation of Dolly, but what I got was a hot mess of epic proportions. The screenplay and direction? Abysmal. It's like the director thought, "You know what would be fun? If we took every cliche, loophole, and plot hole and mashed them all together into a beautiful mess!" And boy, did they deliver. I'm still trying to decipher the director's grand vision, but I think it was something like, "Let's make a movie that will make people question their life choices and wonder why they wasted two hours of their existence." Please save time and don't watch this trash. And Finally "Dolly" - please choose the script wisely from next time.

Director failed and worst screen play . Movie's topic is good but director failed to narrate. Actors have given their best in this movie but worst direction and screenplay and story also .
They would have made even a better story using this topic . There are no good directors in kannada film industry , there are good actors but no use sandalwood need better direction and good directors .
Stop blaming people for not watching kannada movies , why they will waste their time and money watching this kind of movies , its not worth watching in OTT also . Anyway people will judge actors for not making good movies .

This movie feels very close to the hardships of the middle class people...Many emotional moments will make you connect to our routine life...
Dhananjay is a real asset to the film industry as he powerfully portrays the helplessness, hope and anger of a middle class boy...
Ramesh Indira has played the role of a villain has covered the whole film for money... He acted in such a way that if anyone else had played this role, this role would not have turned out so well...
Tara is emotionally gripping as Koti's mom...While Moksha does a decent job and her " Kleptomania " is a typical director's brilluancy that adds beauty to the movie...
Prithvi and Tanuja are appreciated for their acting. Rangarya Raghu's character needed more weight here...Dunia's Vijay cameo will be prominent in Koti's life...
This is Param's debut experience as a film director has shown matured & promising skills with perfect sentiment has tried to tie many emotions with sentiment...Also tried to explain some ideas more clearly and slowly...Sometimes it tests the audience's patience due to its lengthy pacing which is just a minor debacle...
A town called Janata City. There is a house with an iron gate. A cracked wall. A sooty kitchen. Stained fridge. A row of orange ice candies inside it. That old radio on the fridge. Retro song in mellow voice. Thus the story is told in great detail. Art director builds a bridge to the viewer's chest through visible and invisible details. Old-time theatres, through Mahanavami tiger costumes, spark memories of middle-class life all things are bought to life with brilliant piece of art work...
Composed by Vasuki Vaibhav, the songs hum in the ears...Nobin Paul has done magic with background music...
Overall it's a must see flick for Dhananjay's noble effort to his passionate art of making cinema...
