But couldn't be much worse.
Ashley Rickards is hot, but that's about as far as it goes for her acting. Her ridiculous facial expressions and obviously fake anger and defiance just totally ruin her character. Honestly, it was very distracting and took a lot away from the movie.
I really couldn't get much past her stupid faces.

So right from the outset I despised Jessie! She came across as a borderline psychopath!. And I agree about the neck thing. She is the most annoying LMN protagonist ever. In fact I cannot stand her. Saw her in another LMN MOVIE, pretty little stalker where she played a psycho killer, surprise surprise! The story is terrible. The stepdad was abysmal wannabe Steve Jobs! Oh and Ian gets shot point blanc in the gut and survives and later we see his arm in a sling. Ummmm ok!

I think the movie would've been better if the twist had been the main protagonist was actually an AI herself without knowing she was and was inadvertently behind everything. The actual ending was kind of disappointing. Otherwise I don't understand the bad reviews. Sure it's a B-movie, but if you're into computers, technology, coding etc., you'll be entertained. As far as her neck mannerism, I think she's just supposed to be a very tense person. She reminded me a lot of Nebula in Guardianf of the Galaxy,

This movie was terrible, I laughed every time she rolled her neck which happens like every 5 mins. The music feels awkward. Weird old school techno. All the stock footage of the city and timelapse do not fit. And the glitch effects are super annoying. A similar movie I found wayyy better was the Circle, with Hermione in it.

Seriously this is one of the worst movies I've ever watched in my life. It was so bad everything that I was just curious on how it could end up. The actors are terrible, seriously the worst acting so far. The protagonist is just embarrassing, at some point I thought it was a reality show in the movie and everything would have change but not, incredible! 🤣
I think the person who wrote the script just didn't know anything about technology, everything is explained in such a superficial way. No seriously if you are an actor just watch this movie to have a little ego moment and a laugh also!

Wanted to turn off after first 5 mins ... thought I'd give it a chance.. BIG MISTAKE! I actually find it offensive they released this with the thought that it was good enough for people to view.
whoever approved this needs to reevaluate their career choice.

So maybe I'm not qualified (as I've only watched 5 minutes), but sometimes you just get a gut feeling that although it looks pretty awful - the acting is bad, the characters are ridiculous, the camera work is laughable - you simply know that it's not going to get any better.
So you head for IMDB and try to guess what the current rating is. I guessed 2 so was pretty close. I even checked the actor who was currently on screen and couldn't believe his profile: "Manny Perez is becoming one of the most recognized Latino Actors in Hollywood. He has embarked into the most pivotal steps in his career."
Really? It was his acting that made me stop watching.
So who writes the profile? Perhaps they are "fake profiles".

The film develops awkwardly in the beginning attempting to establish relationships. Linus Springer (Jonny Rees) is founder and CEO of Titan, a high tech software company, like Google on steroids. He has a number of young and teen app programmers and developers come work for his company. One such person is Jessie (Ashley Rickards) supposedly Linus' illegitimate daughter. Linus claims his absence as a father is what made Jessie strong..."A Boy Named Sue" philosophy that works better in a song than real life. Jesse has developed an app called "right click" that allows you to make some sort of on-line enemies list. It gets tied into Titan's network and it appears she has inadvertently created a "kill list" as people die around her.
The action takes place in a sparsely furnished neon/LED lit rooms. Not much cost for a set. Likewise the killings are in a small group. The problem with killer computer programs is that a person has to be somehow connected to be a victim and in this film it couldn't maintain that level past two people. Ashley plays the cynical daughter of a ruthless CEO who exhibits similar "coding." The film holds your interest for about an hour and then once things are revealed, the ending was severely anti-climatic.
Guide: No swearing or nudity. One sensual scene.
