It's a film about rich youth of Mumbai and showcases how westernised they are. But in reality it's just an attempt by Bollywood to present a glitzy image of India which only a small minority enjoy.
The film has no story, they live in India but don't seem to behave like Indians or seem to be apart of that country, apart from there anglicised Hindi.
It's amazing how films even without a story to tell get so many good reviews. It's shows what people are satisfied with watching.
The positive in this film is Imaad, he seems to have inherited his father's acting skills and he comes across as very natural. Otherwise this is another ott meaningless film, in which bad language and sexual references rule!

Started watched for Adarsh and Siddhant but Ananya is so unbearable, I started skipping her part when she was on screen and then turn off TV for mental peace.
She should try other career option, her acting is headache.
Adarsh and Siddhant should choose better movies , they are so talented and they should not waste their time on these kind of story and directors.

One fine day, the Akhtars and the Sidwanis were having tea to get rid of a bad hangover. One of them (I used they/them, I m a liberal now, yipee) excused themself to the restroom and as they were reaching out for the toilet roll, thought of making a movie. Since the hangover was really bad, it was difficult to think of a story and hiring a writer was too much of a task. But they realized that the Indian audience likes celebrating mediocrity. So, what was the need to write an engaging plot? They already had a formula. A formula that had worked in the past - three friends, two of them have a fight, the third friend stays put, and they are friends again in the end - only this time the characters had very little depth, each of the subplots were bland, to say the least, and there was very little novelty.
One thing that could have saved the movie was a touch of virtue signalling, but then here's scene 1 - Two men are fighting. Man 1 pins down Man 2 but none of them is seriously hurt. Then the friend of Man 2 comes in and breaks the nose of Man 1. So far so good - Man 2, Man 3, and Lady 1 celebrate the disproportionate response of Man 3 to Man1 (Man 3 breaks Man 1's nose). Everyone is happyyyy.
Next scene- Man 3 accepts that he had earlier given a disproportionate response to his ex girlfriend who had emotionally bullied him and Lady 1 goes absolutely mad at him for the disproportionate response. Hypocrisy much?
Anyway, Bollywood will continue to produce such ordinary movies until the people continue to celebrate them. So, I'll have my review posted, lock the phone, and go to sleep. Cheers!

Pleasantly surprised at how good this movie is, did not have big expectations going in but by the time it ended, fell in love with it, reminded me of DCH.
The movie mainly focuses on Gen-Z, their problems and Social media (read influencers). Despite not being a Gen-Z myself, I was still able to relate with the characters.
Acting by Siddhant & Adarsh are near perfect with Ananya also doing a good job unlike some of her previous roles. The music is nice, probably all songs but one in the movie are good. The standup comedy scenes are really funny & the final standup act by Siddhant was extremely heart touching, well written & acted.
I can't find any fault in the movie TBH, the comedy, emotions, acting, story, music, everything was just right.
I highly recommend this movie, better than all mindless action movies released recently.

It's a wannabes unrealistic and boring movie. This is not "gen z".... And I hope they don't become superficial like them. They are all young yet seem to be rich enough to have an apartment in a posh area, wear expensive clothes, party and live in the social media. Anayana has no acting skills, just acts like stupid girl wanting to cling to her boyfriend .... What message is being given to the young girls with this ? Horrible!
Main characters life revolves around booze, dating, boy friends, girlfriends. No story that keeps one interested.
Overall it's a slow pathetic movie and I advise you to not waste your time.

The story feels aimless and meanders without a clear focus. Kho Gaye Hum Kahan hits some relatable notes about millennial angst and social media fakery, but stumbles over its own shallowness. While the performances are decent, the story lacks depth and feels a bit preachy at times. It's not a bad way to spend an evening, but don't expect to be blown away. Overall, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan is a mixed bag. It offers some fleeting moments of truth and entertainment, but ultimately feels forgettable. Worth a watch if you're looking for a lighthearted take on millennial woes, but don't expect a profound cinematic experience.

Social media, tinder, influencer-culture have become ubiquitous. This movies attempts to showcase their detrimental effects and it's appreciable.
The plot seems to be written in a hurry to complete the script. Enough research hasn't been done in really understand what goes on today's world. This could have been much more in-depth analysis. Also lot of sub-plots seem inconsequential and hard to believe, example a pretty girl Ananya pandey chasing an ordinary guy.
The camaraderie between 3 friends is also lagging and falls short of making a mark for audience to accept that we are seeing story of 3 friends from school . There are hardly any moving sequences in the movie.
Performances wise all 3 actors have done very well . Specially, Adarsh Gourav is impressive.
In total this is a decent attempt but a lot more could have been done. It's exciting to see movies being made on relevant topics.

Netflix movie KHO Gaye Hum Kahan directed by debutant director Arjun Varain Singh this movie is produced by Farhan Akthar written by Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, Arjun Singh starring Siddhanth Chaturvedi, Adarsh Gaurav, Ananya Pandey, Kalki Koechlin.
It's a typical Gen 'Z' movie relatable story about today's generation and how they are impacted with social media, how social media influences our life, how we start comparing our lifes with others looking at the social media updates be it Facebook or instagram.
Story is fresh , excellent direction and good music. A good social message is delivered at the end.
Songs are fresh and for a change loved this bollywood movie. It reminded me about Dil chahtha hey and Zindagi na milegi Dobara types movies.
The story is about 3 freinds (Siddharth, Adarsh and Ananya) they are young, confused, ambitious and like the Gen Z their life goes thru lots of ups and downs and emotional due to society pressures, past issues , relationships issues and social media impacts.
Performance wise all 3 actors were top notch their chemistry worked very well and they did a awesome job. Surprised to see Ananyas performance she nailed it .
This film is definitely aimed at a younger demographic but its realism and rawness in its portrayal make it an appealing watch for a large audience. Probably a film that won't ever get the appreciation it deserves but worth a watch for sure!
Worth watching this during the holiday season
Highly recommend

Kho Gaye Hum Kahan is a beautifully crafted narrative that engages you from the start. The film explores the nuances of friendship in the age of social media with a touch of humor and a lot of heart. The struggles of balancing personal aspirations with the complexities of online interactions are depicted in a manner that's both insightful and entertaining. One of the best things about this film is its portrayal of strong platonic friendship amongst straight people from different genders. This is so rare.such a nice movie I am super excited to watch this movie it's totally fabulous must watch it.
