I was very disappointed in Kevin Hart's most recent stand-up special. The first 20 minutes were not even comedy, they were just a poorly written parody of him at a party trying to "explain" himself to his friends. Then the next 30 minutes were just boring, especially for Kevin Hart's standards. By that time, you're checking the clock every five minutes anxious for the special to end. Finally, after that snooze fest, some great, classic Hart-humor kicks in. I'd say the last 30 minutes of the special were outstanding and make the special worth watching. That being said, the first 50 minutes hurt the experience and dragged down the rating. The laugh-to-bore ratio should be better than 3-to-5.

Kevin Hart killed this performance. You literally don't go more than 3 minutes without laughing your butt off. Great one to watch with your friends, you'll be laughing even when the movie is over because you just cant stop talking about it. I cant wait to see what he has coming next. His last three stand up performances were all pretty great but I dare to say that this was probably his best one so far but not that much more I think that they were all pretty darn close to each other. But he does use new material every time with some old flashbacks that can be hilarious. I feel that Kevin Hart is the best comedian out right now and no one really compares. He's the Eminem of comedy.

Review: I didn't realise that Kevin Hart was so funny. I usually find him annoying in films, but he does do a good stand-up. He isn't as funny as early Eddie Murphy, but I don't that we will ever get someone in his calibre again. I never realised that his tour went to so many countries and that they all done so well. Anyway, if you want a good laugh then you will find plenty of great jokes on this DVD. Enjoyable! Round-Up: I know Kevin Hart isn't a household name, but everyone has seen him in various movies, like Soul Plane etc. The bonus features on the DVD are worth a watch and It's definitely one for the collection. Budget: N/A Worldwide Gross: $32million I recommend this movie to people who are into there stand-up comedies. 6/10

I wish I could give this a better rating, but I can't. There was a bunch of unfunny nonsense in the beginning of the film and then a documentary style bit following Kevin on his world tour. The stuff worth watching comes about a half an hour into the movie, when we actually get to the stand-up portion. This part of the movie was very funny, but I ask myself, "why fill this movie with fluff at the beginning?" I know Hart is funny, he should have put more material into this movie and it could have been a home run. It wasn't a bad movie - don't get me wrong, but my advice is wait until it comes to Netflix,DVD or on demand so that you can use your fast forward button.

I like Kevin Hart and have enjoyed most of his stand up routines that he has developed through the recent years but his newest one has me taken back by the use of his tongue. I don't understand nor do I attempt to understand why anyone in the Black Community would use the "N" word towards another person of his or her race but Kevin throws this word out many times during this routine and it was quite uncomfortable for me to watch. I recall seeing Richard Pryor discuss this after visiting Africa and pleaded with the up and coming black artists to just not use this word in their conversations or in their material. For a while, Richards words were heeded from what I seen, up until I watched this flick with Kevin. I was very disappointed in this and hope that Kevin would tone down his vulgarity just a tad. Then the use of "GD" was way overboard and I feel that the Fame that Kevin has obtained in recent years has gone to his head and he no longer cares about the audience he has attracted to his events and productions. As a Christian, I was very alarmed by his blatant practice of taking our Lords name in vain and must say that if this trend should continue, Kevin will have lost at least one fan that appreciated the work he has done in the past.

If you like stand up comedy, you will hate this. Otherwise, you probably will enjoy it. I have seen many many stand up comedy specials, and this is the worst one I have ever seen. Kevin Hart has an ego that makes this performance unwatchable. He is definitely one who can deliver good comedy, but he has no material on this. I like Kevin Hart, but this is honestly the worst stand up special I have ever had to sit through. The beginning will show you how egotistical Hart is, as he goes through his tour schedule. I hope you heed my warning and only watch this with low expectations. If you like Mitch Hedberg, do not go anywhere near this material.

'KEVIN HART: LET ME EXPLAIN': Two and a Half Stars (Out of Five) A stand-up comedy concert film featuring comedian Kevin Hart doing material from his 2012 'Let Me Explain' comedy tour. It was filmed in front of a sold-out crowd at Madison Square Garden and directed by Leslie Small and Tim Story. The movie also features clips from other shows on Hart's tour as well. If you're a fan of Kevin Hart's stand-up comedy you'll probably enjoy the movie but if you're not in to his comedy style (like me) than you probably won't get a kick out of it (it's as simple as that). The movie opens with Kevin Hart talking to his friends at a party trying to explain his relationship troubles and current success. As he becomes frustrated with trying to explain himself he gets the idea of doing a show at Madison Square Garden where he can explain himself to everyone. He then rushes to a show there right away. The film shows clips of other concerts on his tour before playing the Madison Square Garden show in it's entirety. I like Kevin Hart in movies, I think he's a very funny and likable actor, but seeing his stand-up comedy for the first time (in this movie) I was not impressed. I think he talks too fast and acts too much like a spaz to be relatable at all. His jokes are OK but nothing 'laugh out loud' hilarious. To be fair I'm not a big fan of most stand-up comedy in general; there are very few comedians who can really make me laugh. So I wouldn't say Hart is much worse than anyone else. I wasn't impressed with this film though. Watch our movie review show 'MOVIE TALK' at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-D0yOH-Zx4

I have friends that really love Kevin Hart for some reason. Then I have friends that I agree with, who have no idea why Hart is funny. My theory is that Kevin Hart has a dumb, or uneducated audience. All this "comedian" does is scream into the microphone about unimportant stuff. I'm sure he worked hard to get where he is today, but most of his material is just not funny. Get Hard with Will Ferrell is in my opinion, the best material he has. The movie received a couple of smiles from me, mostly because the Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart combination works. Also his ego just makes the material just awful to listen to.
