The premise of racist Karens calling cops on people for being black is sadly true. But this movie went about pulling off a believable story ALL WRONG. The acting wasn't great and other than the big houses, it felt very low budget. Too bad they didn't do more with this opportunity. And as for a reviewer who said it's dems and libs that do this ... Ha hahahahaha pretty sure if you check the Karen's we've seen on the news doing hateful Karen' behaviors toward blacks, you will find they voted for Trump. Wish people would grow up already and realize America is a Melting Pot and it welcomed everyone 100's of years ago, and it kidnapped and abused people of color thru it's history and sadly it feels like we are going in reverse since 2015 instead of forward with our attitudes of equality, despite all the people fighting so hard for equality. Sad, just Sad. :( If your into lifetime movies, you might enjoy this, but take it with a grain of salt. Too bad this Very Important Subject was portrayed so poorly in this movie. :(

I enjoyed Karen. The acting and script were pretty good. Many of the comments are from the new breed of conservative-leaning snowflakes who apparently lack the fortitude to evaluate the quality of a film that may not espouse their exact political views If a black couple moved into a historically all-white neighborhood, then it is not unlikely that they would have to deal with nosy neighbors who can't mind their own business. This film is a fairly realistic account of such a scenario. Karen's character was extreme and psychopathic, but the portrayal never lacked credibility. Likewise, Officer Wind is what I'd expect from a corrupt cop. There are a few scenes with some preachy progressive themes, but, again, this is fairly realistic dialogue given the circumstances depicted in the film. 6/10.

It felt like satire. This was a terribly written movie about a bunch of stupid interactions. And what about when they first meet on the street? Karen said "hello" and they sarcastically talk about how she seems nice. All she said was hello. That is polite.

Watched this movie because I heard about it in news. I thought "how bad can it be?"
This movie puts on display true racism. Not of the "characters". But of the writer, director, producer and stars of this hate on film.
It's depressing not in what happens on screen- which is formulaic at best. But in the glimpse it gives into the roiling hate the entertainment industry has for a large part of the population.
