Interesting story, writer's take the credit for all this success of movie. A must watch. Actress Sonakshi has justice & Ritesh Deshmukh is awesome. Story takes you to a village which is cursed by a kakuda named ghost which comes on every Monday 1915hrs to check the doors. The story line is obvious but interesting conversation and writing does make it entertaining. Director keeps the movie authentic to the core by not including anything flamboyant. If the movie would have been released on theatre it would not have reached many audience as star cast isn't appealing but OTT release was the right decision by producers. Looking forward for more stories from writers.

The story is of Ratori, an imaginary village near Mathura...It is said that if someone does not leave the small door of the house open at 7.15pm in the evening on Tuesday, then the man of the house gets caught by "KAKUDA" First the hump comes out and after 13 days his soul comes out... People sitting nearby are seen eating happily. It seems that the villagers have accepted this as their destiny and this sight of 'Kakuda' seems to be a celebration... Aditya Sarpotdar is a famous Marathi director. His latest film "Munjya" released in Hindi has become 100 crores and ZEE5 has given 'Kakuda' to its customers... Sonakshi has lived up to the full glory of her acting...Where she can hide the fading glow of her increasing age by playing character roles... With dual role she has well performed to break the identity... The atmosphere remains high from Ritesh's entry in the film till the climax. Although Kakuda's way of telling the story is a bit boring as per the film, but the love of being scared is such that the viewer remains till the end in the hope that something shocking might happen... Saleem doesn't have a lot to do in the role but every time he is on screen he leaves enough of an impact to keep his character in your mind as you watch the show... Lawrence de Cunha's cinematography and Gulraj Singh's music could not succeed in doing anything called practical magic& not too bad either... Overall Despite the laughs and the acting, there is just not enough horror or mystery to have an impact...

The movie is superb with good story and fair acting however acting could have been improved. Overall a very different concept was used which was fresh from the usual movies coming from indian industry. People who are commenting that the movie is not scary enough either have not understood the genre of the movie or taking out personal grudges against some actors etc which is defeating the purpose and doesnt tell anything about the movie itself. According to me the movie is definitely a one time watch even if not to be repeated watching. It is suspenseful and scary both while keeping it light and comedic.

A tale gripping story written by Avinash and Chirag. Well directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. Outstanding act by Riteish, Saquib and Sonakshi. A must watch film full of entertainment and comedy. Some written dialogue shows glimpse of comedy sketch of Avinash and Chirag which they use to perform in theatre and YouTube channel. Superb acting by Riteish and Saquib. Unusual story and twist and plot which makes audience sit and involved in movie till very end. Aditya's direction for the movie is superb nice camera work. I was thinking to spoil the story first but people should watch the movie and get entertained. It is the must watch movie and we are eagerly waiting for the second part. Common Avinash and Chirag many more to come!!! Keep the good work going....
