This movie was a fun trip with some good laughs and some fun character interactions. I watched it with a group and friends and while I know a lot about RWBY another friend knew a lot about the justice league and it was very fun to watch our favorite characters interact. There are some references to RWBY up until mid way through volume 7, but other than that I don't think this movie needs any prior knowledge. You definitely don't have to know too much about the justice league as I enjoyed it knowing not much about them. Jessica (green lantern) stole the show! Definitely looking forward to part 2!

The movie interpretation of the crossover comics wherein DC's Justice League meets Remnant's Team RWBY and company satisfies even more than the original run. Those familiar with one franchise but not the other will find themselves enjoying it anyway, with each side given enough context to understand the other, particularly in way of DC fans only just now being introduced to Monty Oum's series. The League's voice cast are newcomers to their roles, with Chandler Riggs, Natalie Alyn Lind, and Jeannie Tirado being standouts in their performances, while those reprising the RWBY characters are just as good as they've ever been at portraying the characters they helped to shape. The action in this crossover paired with the character dynamics almost perfectly satisfies, while also leaving the viewer wanting more, which they will undoubtedly get when Part 2 inevitably arrives to finish this interesting and unique storyline.

Loved this crossover! Big fan of the character designs and the outfits. The whole movie is interesting and kept my attention while it gives off that silly and fun rwby vibe from some of the earlier volumes, while having more serious moments as well, with the newer fluid animation style. If you liked this, there are numerous DC crossover comics to keep up with as well! I certainly cant wait for part 2. I'm very curious to see how it continues after that ending. Please though, If you're a fan, watch up to volume 7 at the very least, Im assuming that's when the film takes place in the RWBY plot line, the show is worth the watch for sure.
