Jurassic Thunder

Randomly bought in Tesco without thinking. Waste of a fiver. My husband enjoyed laughing at how Terrible it is hence 2 stars!

I love bad movies, especially accidentally bad movies. This is a deliberately bad movie. One of those ones where no one in the movie is even pretending to take it seriously. About 80% of every set is people deliberately badly standing in front of a green screen. Actors turn to look directly into the camera to pull faces. The cgi is deliberately as unrealistic as possible. Its just bad. People are claiming it's trying to spoof low budget movies but nothing comes across as a spoof. It feels more like something a group of teenagers would make for a YouTube channel. Also, the president is Donald Trump. That's the whole joke. Its the worst Donald Trump impression I've seen, there's no actual jokes, it's just there's someone doing a really awkward Donald Trump impression everyone in awhile and saying incredibly little. Even if you'd just copied some memes about him it would have been better. Not worth the time.

A group of commands along with weaponized dinosaurs are brought together on an abandoned desert base to prevent World War II from happening. Directors Milko Davis and Thomas Markwick relate the enjoyably inane story at a zippy pace, maintain an amusing tongue-in-cheek tone throughout, and blow up lots of stuff for food measure. The laughably lousy CGI effects and ineptly staged action both add to the considerable hilarity, plus there's also flesh-eating zombies. The game no-name cast have a ball with the zany material, with Heath C. Heine in particular an absolute hoot as a buffoonish caricature of former president Donald Trump. A real kitschy riot.

Stupid funny crazy movie enjoyed it my kids as well. What sci-fi movie supposed to be about.

....but then again, did you expect an award winner here? Your better off staring at the sun rather than watching this. Your eyes will thank you.

Superb entertainment if not taken seriously. Fun to watch!!!!

This little gem popped up as a recommended film for me and I am so very glad it did. It's an Army of Darkness for the modern times. I often have trouble sitting through a film uninterrupted, but I was genuinely glued to the screen for this one. If you like absurdist action, zombies, dinosaurs, or just general B movie fun, this is absolutely worth your time and money. I feel confident saying all those who left negative reviews on this film have little taste and no sense of humor. The special effects, though low budget, only add to this films charm. The cast brings us a fun and diverse group of characters, each with their own personality, quirks, and endearments, which is something that I usually find lacking in even the highest of budget blockbusters. The jokes are never ending, and not once did they miss or land flat. Jurassic Thunder was made with pure love and I feel privileged to have been offered a slice of their zombie-dino-military love pie.

This (ahem) sci fi movie should have just been made into a slapstick comedy, because that's how it develops, but the comedy is missing from the slapstick. I won't try to say what the movie is about, because it's a disjointed mess of scenes that will bore you to sleep. This may be the most boring collection of special effects since the remake of "Clash of the Titans". They do try to give us the comedy, but they fail. I can't say it's the actors here, because it's mostly a movie of images and special effects, without a lot of expressions from the actors on camera. Sure, some, but they aren't well timed. The director, unfortunately, lacks the sense of timing. Which makes for a very boring ordeal. Since it is boring, it doesn't get the chance to be "depressing", so it's merely forgettable, and for me, that is the criteria for the 3/10 rating.

I don't know what to write, except this. This movie is a real dissapointment. Really, don't see it................it's sò bad.

If this movie was made by a bunch of kids in High School then the effects are impressive, but under any other standards they are some of the worst you will ever see. The plot of the movie is poorly thought out, the camera angles and transitions make this movie look like it was edited in in Windows XP Movie Maker. I only watched it because there were quite a few good reviews, but I'm sure they're lost in all the bad reviews by now and that they were posted by the High School Kids who made this movie. I enjoy quite a few low budget films, but this film does not come anywhere near that list. At one moment in the film a Commanding Officer is seen using a Nerf Gun. And while this part is pretty funny as a colleague quietly points out it's a Nerf Gun, the rest of the movie has the same issues. Ultimately they should have made this movie a comedy. Trying to make this movie an action movie sealed the fate on the possibility of anyone ever watching this more than once. At moments in the film it is more entertaining to count the number of pixels in objects (as the graphics are randomly bad) than to actually pay attention to what is going on. Don't watch it. And if you do, good luck getting past the first 10 minutes. If you want the Super Power to listen to any seminar, any documentary or to listen to any campaigning personal for hours on end; you will have to endure the torture that is this movie first.
