Eventually Johnny finds himself in the middle of a murder plot to kill Bollywood's greatest star, Jiggy (Johnny's Indian equivalent and rival).

I used to watch Cartoon Network every day when I was young and back in the days when Cartoon Network was the paradise before the channel got some uninteresting cartoons these days (Regular Show is the only good show at the moment in my opinion). So we had Dexter's Lab, Ed, Edd n Eddy and many others but also Johnny Bravo. Johnny Bravo in my opinion was a pretty funny show, but it was a pity when the show went extremely downhill and became bad, not awful but hard to laugh at. I haven't really seen the show for a very long time but I still remember all the gags and humor and the characters that appeared. The first season was witty and funnier but when Van Partible left the show came new episodes with new style and new but uninteresting characters (i.e. Carl and Pops). And then the show had for the third time a new style that utilized old materials but the episodes where rather uninteresting too. I had absolutely no idea that Johnny Bravo would finally get his own movie but when I saw the first minutes of the movie I wasn't impressed because I can already tell you that the animation was simplified and boring to watch. The animation is pure simple and I was starting to think that I was watching one of those lazy Teletoon cartoons. So I stopped watching it, but I gave it a second chance to see if this was a good turn on one of CN's classic show. Sadly it failed, not miserably but rather not so much of entertainment. The story is about Johnny himself when he watched a Hollywood star documentary where he has been considered as a forgotten star, but when he finds out about the possibilities to become a great star in Bollywood he decides to go to India by himself and his ape-friend and to make sure he could become a star he always has dreamed of becoming. But it's a matter of time when he finds his rival and equivalent Jiggy who also at the same time is an a murder attempt to get rid of his fame. But before the bad news here's the good news. No Carl or Pops appears. Despite the animation Johnny and his mother got their style from the beginning of the show. I liked the movie parodies including the faces of Johnny himself. The Scooby-Doo joke and I think that's all. Bad news: Apart from the animation being presented in a simple way the humor was all flat-out, non convincing and not funny at all. Many characters were annoying even for the main villain. We got two Susie's in this movie (the two little girls who follow Johnny), I don't know either to be pleased or annoyed. The plot at the end seemed confused and twisty at odd directions. Basically I don't think this movie worked for me. Not even Van Partible seems to be able to make this entertaining. Many jokes that appears has been done and are too dull to laugh at. Watching the animation just makes the movie too boring to watch and I seriously hope that we don't get more of this type of animation to upcoming direct-to TV movies. If you compare this to EEnE's Big Picture Show I hope that you can see the differences of what makes a movie faithful to it's original show. Sorry but Johnny Bravo Goes To Bollywood was a disappointment to me.
