A must watch for all. Movie making at it's best. Emotional thriller ride all over. These type of movies with exact truth should be supported not just focusing on one side. Every actor nailed their performances. Quality film making. So it's all about politics every time, common people suffer every time. No religion is supported for the sake of politics. It's all about the sick heads who are in power. A Hindu a Muslim a Sikh supports each other in tough times, a movie about friendship saving everyone around who are in trouble. If people understands the same everytime no politician can rule based on religion.

Excellent movie showing the reality of 1984, thanks to all the team, director and producer. Respect for choosing Diljit and thanks to Diljit for performing an excellent role. The same thing happened in 1984. We wish the directors to make real life movies like this. It should be presented for the OSCAR award and other real life movies awards. First time Diljit removed his turban to show the trauma faced by Indian Sikhs in 1984. No words for him for accepting this role and performing it so well. We would like to support Diljit , i am sure stars are in his favour as he is blessed by WAHEGURU. There is no religion bigger than humanity and no religion taught us violence.

Do not waste your time. So many errors in the movie in terms of flow..random long and repeative flashbacks.. No info shown on the subject.. dont know why people are rating this movie as good. Its not even average movie. Example- milk bottle is thrown in front of someone just and yet he fails to identify or even think why did the bottle just made noise! Random story line of friends..and religion shown. Why cant the people hide at different place but do it in such easy places to identify.. Why wasting time on the way when others are yet to be rescued!! Pls avoid wasting your time...i just did and wished i didnt.

I must say that this movie took me by surprise. I didn't expect this movie to be that good. This movie is based on true events, which took place during the mid '80s. Those were the times when many countries had racial and religious riots. I wasn't aware of these bitter events that took place in India during the '80s, so it was so sad to see that the assassination of one human being, led people in attempting to take revenge and brutally ethnic cleanse one whole race from one particular country just because two members from their ethnic group happened to be the ones who assassinated their Prime Minister. I think the cast did an excellent job and the movie was produced and directed perfectly, so this one deserves a perfect 10 stars from me as it's one of the best films I've seen in a very long time. This is one film which is not to be missed and I would highly recommend it.. I recommend the dubbed in English version if Hindi/Urdu isn't your first language.

Every character in the movie plays there role to brilliance .... Even the supporting cast specially mother of jogi.. she is just mind blowing ... coming to Diljit Dosanjh .. I think he is most underrated actor in bollywood because the level of acting he does in the movie is just amazing .. looking forward to see him in more bollywood movies ... movie is gripping , full of tension till last , and obviously emotional ride. From the starting of the movie it finds the path ... extra ordinary well directed first half by Ali abbas Jaffar .. can say loose grip in second half but acting level in the second half was just unbelievable.

A story revolving around a power hungry politician who goes on to eliminate Punjabi community post Indira Gandhi's assassination in Delhi. Watch how Jogi comes to their rescue risking his and his friends lives. Writing of the film is to the point. I couldn't see any character which were portrayed had flaws. Hats off to the entire team of Jogi. Music or background score isn't top notch but keeps you engaging with the film. I truly wished they had shown what happens to the main antagonist in end but that's just my curiosity. I highly recommend everyone to watch this. I am not sure if the film ever released in theatres, but it deserves to be.

This movie is brilliant. Screenplay, direction, acting, everything is amazing. I advise you to put some tissue papers beside you because it will make you cry a lot. The screenplay and story literally hold me tightly throughout the movie. One of the best thriller and suspense movie, based on the real events, i have ever seen. One of the best Indian movie of 2022. I find no negatives/flaws in the movie. Throughout the movie you will keep biting your nails. That's the suspense level of this movie. This movie will be remembered forever like Schindler's list. This movie is going abroad for sure. I cried a lot and i am sure you will too.

Hum logo ko nafrat ka mtlb b ni smajh aata or Jin sb k sath waqt waqt pr ye sb alag alag tariko se ye sb hua h , unn sb ka kya hi hua hoga? Ek or thought aara h ki "ye movie ki shooting, sacchi may bht difficult rahi hogi twade liye.... bht te jyda" Except movie, reality ni dekhi Jaa skti bht mushkil se movie complete ki h , chhodne wali thi mid may.... but hum sb nu pta ni ye nafrat kon or kaha sikhate h. Some films leave you stunned with sheer power. Long after you've watched the film, it still sends a chill down your spine if you recall the incidents. Diljit Dosanjh's Jogi (Netflix) based on 1984 sikh genocide is one such film. An intense drama. Bit of slow but Keeps you hooked throughout. #Jogi touches some raw nerves with facts & soul shaking scenes from 84 Sikh genocide. With Top Notch direction Jogi successfully Brings out the pain which has been forgotten years ago. It's definitely hard hitting, but with much needed sensitivity. And I really don't have words to explain what I am feeling right now. Remember ~ 1984 was a genocide of Sikhs not riots.
