For sure, this is a polarizing movie, i can see the reasons why many people are not gonna like it. This is an indie, dark comedy. I could be more precise but i would spoil it and you should watch it without knowing anything about the plot. One thing you must know before you watch it, is that it is not scary. No horror/thriller elements here, although there a few intense moments during the first 20 minutes. In my opinion, as soon as the twist happened, it was very funny until the end. I would call it even hilarious, but beware, it's not a "laughing out loud" movie. The humor is extremely subtle. Characters act and speak outrageously with a straight face. Well acted and the script is even better. There are some really funny -and sad at the same time- actors' monologues here. These monologues elevated the movie, they were brilliant. It's not a perfect movie. First 10-ish minutes are slow and boring, i believed that i was going to disliked it. Furthermore, maybe they didn't capitalize well on their interesting ideas. Movie themes should be explored more. It's obviously that the writers are creative but they should work harder, this should be a longer movie. It ended kinda abruptly. In any case, i enjoyed this movie, and i found it pretty original, something rare for movies nowadays. This is not a comedy/horror movie, neither an intense comedy thriller. If you are looking for an indie/art/weird dark comedy, you will enjoy it too. By the way, of course there is a "Jethica" here. Just listen carefully the stalker, when he calls her name :)

First of all, there is no one named Jethica in this film. Jessica is the lead character and she is driving through New Mexico when she happens upon a former classmate from high school by the name of Elena. It seems that Jessica has a stalker and she has left California to escape his stalking. Meanwhile, we are first introduced to Elena in the opening scene as she is engaged in sex with a complete stranger in a motor vehicle. No explanation is ever given for these unusual circumstances. By the way, there is no nudity involved the said vehicle. The two women pair up at Elena's mobile home in the middle of nowhere and we are finally introduced to Kevin, the stalker. It only gets dumber by the minute and thankfully it was over in one hour and twelve minutes.
