Jackass 3, or 3D as it was in cinemas, was a great movie with bigger and funnier stunts and pranks than the first and second movies, but the makers ended up making enough material for two movies. Basically, this straight-to-DVD release is all the unused material from the third movie, featuring the American performers filming each other, sometimes with hidden camera, performing stunts and pranks on each other and on the public, just like in the TV show. The stunts involve being injured or doing disgusting things with almost no thought for health and safety, and the pranks are hilarious to see play out either on the performers or on the public for their reactions. Starring Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Ryan Dunn, Ehren McGhehey, Preston Lacy, Jason "Wee Man" Acuña and Dave England, with appearances from director Jeff Tremaine, Bam's parents Phil and April Margera, Spike Jonze (director of Being John Malkovich and Her), Rick Kosick, Manny Puig, Brandon DiCamillo, Mat Hoffman, Dimitry Elyashkevich, Rake Yohn, Luke Wilson (Owen's brother), and Mike Judge (Beavis and Butthead, and King of the Hill). The film also includes behind-the-scenes interviews from the cast and crew about the material. This includes the European promotion tour, in Madrid, Spain, London, England, Dublin, Ireland, and Berlin, Germany. The highlights in the film are the opening with the team running through the street of the capital cities on the European tour, Alligator Snapping Turtle, Fat F-word Fall Down, Barrel Surfing, Snapping Turtle on a Stick, Ghetto Defibrillators, Miniature Cannon, Slip N' Bowl (which is a prank within a prank, with Knoxville shooting the rest of the team on the slippery ground with paintballs from a remote-controlled helicopter), Rocket Ass, Magna Goggles, Snow Tubing, the Blowback, Doo Doo Falls, Kissing Booth, Tennis Balls, Paint Balloons, Going Fishing, Drywall Drop In, Bareback Base Jump, Tennis Ball Nut Shot, Bombs Away, Invisible Wee, Belt Sander Skates, Fat Kathy, Double Flying Head Kick, Enema Long Jump, Treadmill S-word Show, Human Cheetah, Winter Fat F-words, Woodpecker, the Yoga Ball, Flaming Gauntlet, Dildo Bazooka, Flying Nut High Five, Moto Base Jump, Ball Way, Electric Limbo, Penis Costume, Triple Train Horn, Rat Zapper, Changed Sunscreen, Fart Darts, and Basketball Nut Shots. The performers deliberately doing things to hurt themselves and each other, often crashing into things, along with some disgusting things that cause vomiting, is cringing and looks painful and dangerous, and should not be tried at home. You cannot help but laugh at it, because the performers all have a great sense of humour, and there are some genuinely ingenious pranks on the public, for adults only. Admittedly you can understand why most of the material was removed from Jackass 3, as it is perhaps too over-the-top with too much male nudity and gross stuff, the interviews are slightly pointless, but this isn't a terrible reality slapstick comedy. Okay!

Time to grow up. It was fun twenty years ago.
Hanging from trees just to fall flat to the ground, snapping turtles in the ass and taze your pal when he is asleep. As i Said - daft!

So much good stuff here, in general it's a much more positive and simply fun .5 than some before. The guys behind the scenes messing around never gets old and some of the commentary behind stunts is great. There's a lot more commentary as well versus previous .5's that felt more like just extensions.
This .5 is also the most explicit one I think out of all of them, so many * stunts with the hilarious Pontius. Not all that funny but most of the stuff here is still very much worth the watch. Also the intro is really fun, would've preferred it over the 3D one actually.

This is one that I only saw once when it hit DVD. Jaime and I watched it again just to check it out as something easy to watch. To throw this out, it is another fun one.
Much like 2.5, I love the documentary feel by interviewing cast members as a peak behind the curtain. This is footage that didn't make 3D, so there's that. Still fun though and we both enjoyed our time here. Not as good, but worth a watch.
My Rating: 6.5 out of 10.

Equally crude and bizarre... But while I was watching this, which is the last one, I felt less disgust, disgust, what a pity, when reading the history of the most famous characters, their social, emotional and professional collapse, with the death of a member, and problems with most, it gave me a lot of sadness, the beginning of a dream that went wrong, sad...

I watched this to regain that since of nostalgia from my teenage years watching Jackass. These guys are funny and come up with the craziest ideas you can imagine. I would hate to be part of the cast living in fear of being pranked at any moment. I could have done without the nudity but otherwise good movie and very funny.

As good if not better than a movie itself, stunts were funny and the commentary added an extra level. The Bam/Dunn stunts just hit every time, so funny.
