Jaadugar is a comedy drama fantasy romance sport film directed by sameer saxena.
Jeetendra kumar aka jeetu bhaiya again pulls at your heartstrings with his acting, especially in the final moments, his expressions were on point. His dialogue delivery and body language during the magic sequences was really good. Arushi sharma is so beautiful, man. Cannot look anywhere else when she is on screen. Not only her beauty, but her acting too is her strong point. Her character smiles on screen but deepdown she has her problems too. Meenu and disha's chemistry was excellent. Jaaved jaffrey too shines in his moments. The supporting cast is very strong and they do their job perfectly.
The humour works pretty well. There are many sequences where you would burst out laughing or just smile at the innocence of the characters. One such scene was when meenu tries to flirt with disha in the clinic and its consequence. That was hell of a sequence. The dialogues too are excellent. The link between love and magic is very well portrayed. 'Dil behlane wale ko nahi, dil jeetne wale ko jaadugar kehte hai', pretty much sums up the film.
The screenplay is very well written. It is a long film and it could have been edited well. But it won't irritate you. The football scenes were shown well. It looked genuine atleast. Some small twists too work well. Other than meenu and disha, none of the characters were written well. You cannot feel for them, yes they are good actors but you cannot relate in the long run. Also some things happen too conveniently.
Its a pretty good film with some pretty good moments. I rate it 9 out of 10.

Typical Bollywood formula film produced by very unexpected origin TVF. This movie is for people who imagine themselves in cringey Bollywood moments and visualize themselves as the Kalyug Avatar of SRK.
I never in my worst dream imagined that Jeetu bhaiya would do a film like this. It's like casting a very talented actor in B grade bhojpuri movie. I mean he gave his best but for the wrong cause. Jeetu Bhaiya has always been a window into Aam Admi's marvelous adventures in this normal life. His persona has similar vibes that Irrfan Khan used to have. Simplicity but with Brilliance. But if you try to mould him into SRK like futile and dreamy personality then that connect with the viewers is lost. And the director did exactly the same mistake here. Simply put this was clearly not what should have been made.
Now coming to the story. The writing shows that it tries very hard to parallelize the events of two archs in the movie - Magic and Football, and paint a conclusion that "LOVE can make amazing things to happen". But this is no Beautiful Mind. This is very poorly made Jaadugar. And Love ka Power totally felt like on your face homey.
This is a grave sign that independent and break the mould kind of production houses are resorting to same old romantic Bollywood formula film making. May be TVF team has someone who has tasted the money and now everything's gonna be for Vit Money not Vit Art.
Oh and I totally forgot. Not laughed even once in the entire movie. So if someone is under the delusion that this is a RomCom, well its not. Comic scenes are majorly inspired from other movies and also cringey.
In nutshell, if you appreciate mindless Bollywood romantic masala movie where "Pyar ka Khumaar" takes the center stage then go ahead and watch this movie. You will love it and may be watch it multiple times and force others to watch it with you. BUT if you are really into good movies that makes sense and imprints on you then just don't waste your time. You will feel like you are watching an inferior content compared to your amazing movie choices. JUST DON'T DO IT.

Simple, humble and heartfelt. Nice performances by the entire cast. Cute and innocent writing by Biswapati Sarkar. The trailer promised a simple, laid-back, no deep messaging movie and it was exactly that. Of course it's not as outstanding as other TVF projects but is still quite likeable. Delivers an enjoyable movie experience.

Didn't expect the movie to be so messy especially with prized names of TVF content creators. They forgot that their content is liked because their 'chotey Sheher ki kahaani' have characters that resemble real people and do not indulge in out of tradition bollywood tadka. Story is stretched beyond limits and never felt engrossing. Too many melodramatic scenes and out of context songs which are akin to typical bollywood movies. Jeetu's Chaman Bahaar was far far better than this sports 'kam' magic 'kam' movie.

Sameer Saxena, jitu, nilotpal Bora, vishwajit sarkar, .. I'm a age long fan of this recipe..
And on top of that performers like jaaved jaffery, monoj Joshi, and subtle moments Sameer Saxena is capable of ... This is a perfect product.

I was exited about this movie for Biswapati Sarkar, the writer of tvf pitchers, permanent roommates... It was not upto pitchers level but it's a very engaging, entertaining and fun watch. It's the characters that you will fall in love with. The dialogues are amazing. Music of Nilotpal Bora is the soul of this movie. And JITENDRA KUMAR what I will say about him? He is a true performer. Single handedly pulled off so many scenes with such ease. His comic timing was op. Lastly Sameer Saxena, the show runner is the true magician. He did it with Yeh meri family and he does it here also. Kudos to posham pa production.. After Home shanti, it's their second beautiful work. Go watch Jaadugar.. It's worth it.

Must watch. This movie is like a song - beautiful and emotion-evoking. I cried at least 2 times while watching the movie. (Maybe more to do with my residual emotions than the movie itself 😂)
Biswapati Sarkar's writing is simply brilliant (fun fact : spotted Biswapati Sarkar in one of the scenes haha).
Everyone's acting in the movie was brilliant. Especially Manoj Joshi.
What I loved about this movie was the fact that it picks up a very relatable person as the protagonist in Jeetu bhaiya. The character is as immature as it can get. This character doesn't understand true meaning of love or magic. The character has good intentions and in his own words "I'm not a bad person". He is taken on a journey where he is taught both love and magic.
The immaturity of this character exists in most of us and people around us. The movie reminds what it means to love someone in most simple way possible. We forget that love is an active choice. We forget that love is difficult. We forget that its not as easy as saying "I love you" or giving gifts on birthday. We forget that love is effort but the rewards of love are beautiful.
This movie also highlights grief and how different people deal with grief.
There were parts of this movie which I didn't like.
1/ Obviously, it gets unrealistic and dramatic at times but its a "love"ly movie. The parts, which to me were unrealistic were how the protagonist changes so easily. I think people don't change so easy without failing hard or trauma. The magic was unrealistic too. So was the unbelievable team playing football.
2/ The movie closes the loop on main love story and the heroine's father. It doesn't close a few loops properly like the protagonist's relationship with his chacha (which I think could have gotten a better closure), the guy with the hand issue etc. Would have loved to see few more loops closing.

In 2 words - super boring. Idea was good but the movie is made too boring and too lengthy. Script is poor and you will not help fast forwarding it after an hour of watch.
