Definitely not your traditional Christmas movie, but honestly I enjoyed it even more than the first "Binge" movie. The movie was structured with many references to classic Christmas movies we've all seen, but often with hilarious twists and drug induced fantasies. Every scene felt like it's own skit, and if you are looking for a dumb, enjoyable movie just to laugh at I say check this one out! ESPECIALLY if you liked the ridiculousness of the first one. The movie was obviously not an Oscar winner, but it had so many fun characters and one of the funniest casts I've seen in a long time. Worth a watch, honestly worth a few watches.
I recommend watching it with a group of friends too, with a drink in your hand!

Hulu has bought another The Binge film and set it at Christmas and man, we hit the algorithm right on this week. Directed and written by Jordan VanDina, this year's Binge comes during the holidays, which seems like when it should always be if you can only drink and do drugs for 12 hours a year.
Hags (Dexter Darden) is trying to stay sober so that he can propose to his girlfriend Sarah (Zainne Saleh) while his friend Andrew (Eduardo Franco) wants to use all those powders, pills, drinks and smokes to get through the time he has to spend with his family. All while Mayor Spengler (Kaitlin Olsen) is trying to get her town -- and her daughter Kimmi (Marta Piekarz) to end The Binge just as her brother Kris (Nick Swardson) escapes from prison.
It's nice to see Tim Meadows, Danny Trejo and Paul Scheer get some work, but this movie seems like a child who has just learned to swear or worse, a college kid who comes back home for Christmas obsessed with smoking grass. It tries -- the animated part is kind of humorous -- but I just know we're going to get a third one. And you know me. I'm going to sit through it.

Save yourself 1hr 38mins & skip this one.
The is the worst Christmas movie i have ever seen, in-fact its one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
The acting is awful & it has actors I usually think are great!
The story is so weak and poorly scripted & the comedy simply fails to deliver as its so forced. There is even awkward pauses after scripted jokes, i guess to allow the level of audience they are aiming to time to let the joke soak in.
I have watched 1000s of movies & some are good and some are bad. This jumps into my top tem worst films I have ever had to sit through. Its boring to the max.
If you want a entertaining funny drug movie watch Cheech & Chong and leave this movie in the trash where it deserves to be.

So I had never watched The Binge before, and I started this movie without realizing it was a sequel until 20 minutes in. The thing is I went back and watched the first one after and it doesn't even compare to how funny the sequel is. I was hoping it was like Harold & Kumar's Christmas special and it was just as funny. I genuinely loved this film. It's so funny, like just stupid funny. Anyone who is mad at the humor doesn't appreciate good humor. No, but seriously if you like anything like Tim Robinsons I Think You Should Leave or any meta-humor, stupidly aware that its just being outrageous then you should like this film.

There's a fine line between stoner comedy and comedy that only makes sense after dining on the electric lettuce. I get that's kinda the point of the whole movie but fell a few yards shy of the mark.
As most movies with him do, it is made quite a bit better with Danny Trejo in the role of the angel named Angel. Not the worst idea to bail after he exits.
Even then, some of the jokes just don't land. I'm pretty sure drugs were unfamiliar subject matter for at least one writer. The phrase Suck It Down Pipe is not one you can lean a franchise on.
Your best bet is to chuckle at it while your edibles hit & move on.

Is it even possible to dislike a Christmas movie full of actors I love that is meant to be watched while on drugs? Yes. Yes, it is very possible. I enjoyed the first film for what it was and spent many late nights watching it laughing. It's A Wonderful Binge however just wasn't enjoyable. I know when the filmmakers wanted me to laugh, but the laughs never came unfortunately. I chuckled a few times here and there, but I found myself checking the amount of time left until it was over more than once. I'm sure that some people will enjoy this movie but for me this is on par with Caddyshack 2 when compared to the original.

The Binge 2 was a truly awful movie. From the poorly written script to the wooden acting, it was clear that this was a film that should have never seen the light of day. In fact, I think it would have been more fitting if it had been called The Cringe instead.
The plot was predictable and cliche, with characters that were completely one-dimensional and lacked any depth or complexity. The dialogue was cringeworthy, with lines that were clearly meant to be funny but fell flat.
Overall, I was deeply saddened by how bad movies have become these days. It's a shame that Hollywood is churning out such poor quality content, and I can only hope that things will improve in the future. Until then, avoid The Binge 2 at all costs and save yourself the headache.

Like the title says, this was painful to sit through and I've got a high tolerance for bad late-night comedies.
The movie itself looks terrible, it has the cinematic flair of an All-State commercial.
Tim Meadows is probably the only bright spot in the entire movie, which seems to be 4 disjointed plotlines pasted together in editing with little regard for telling a cohesive story. The two main characters are barely in any scenes together beyond the opening and closing minutes.
The entire premise of the movie is about drug-fueled Christmas mayhem and I don't think anyone started doing drugs until like half way through the runtime.
Overall, it just feels like such a wasted opportunity.
