Irugapatru

I liked this movie, the ensemble of cast was good - especially Sania (was highly critical of her acting in the initial movies - but here she has done much better job - albeit a tag superficial - but her improvement is commendable). The thread around relationships is evergreen and so many movies have been done on this left, right and center - back from Visu and Balachader during 70s and 80s through Mani Ratnam and other during 2000s and 2010s to even our new directors like Ashwin Marimuthu, Brinda Master, Balaji Mohan etc. The movie is shot well, score is quite good (gives proper emphasis without overwhelming or sticking out) The sore things I felt was the editing (some of the scenes in the middle felt repetitive - I think those could have been trimmed down) and screenplay (occasionally felt forced - trying for melodrama - but a restrained approach as done during the first 10 - 20 minutes would have been better)

I felt like this movie was good for society giving some knowledge about marriage life and the common problems we facing right now. The characters special mention to Abarna who gain weight and lose weight for her character,Shardha for amazing role and Saniya acting was unbelievable. The heroes in this movie was good Vikram Prabhu didnt have much scope but one thing i like about him giving other co actors space to shine. Other 2 heroes was good portraying their characters well. This is a family movie and i think even children can watch this movie too fo future. I felt the bgm and songs were not good..

The movie is all about couples struggling in their marriages and how they learn to overcome the struggles and be successful in their relationships. Its a noble premise, but the movie devolves into female characters just seeing an iota of good in their male partners and running back to their married lives. One of the characters is a marriage counselor who at the climax would agree to fight with her husband, check his phone and force him to come home early though she herself doesn't want to (cringgggge). The other 2 male characters (first wanted his wife to lose weight and thoroughly body shamed her, and the second went above and beyond to prove his wife was an imbecile so that he could be the alpha) also had their wives running back to them at the end. The movie fails to recognize that a person's individuality and self esteem is not to be sacrificed for something conceptual as a happy married life. This is why in India we have so many unhappy couples. I wish our film makers would stop this nonsense at some point and actors would deny these roles. Until then, we will watch such movies and cringe.

This is a very good family movie. Excellent story... awesome acting... super direction. The storyline is really good and its a very good movie to watch as a family. The psychologist acted really well and the way she has expressed and carried herself throughout the movie is really good. Vikram Prabhu has done justification to his stardom. The screenplay surrounding the 3 couples and the way each one has acted makes us go right inside the movie and see ourselves as one of them and able to completely relate to the movie. Not a single fight or love scene is there...More such family movies are needed for audiences like me...

We almost avoided watching Irugapatru until we decided to give it a try. We are literally in awe of this screenplay😍😍 The introduction was so inviting and serene with Shraddha Srinath talking bout the realities of relationships. We were already hooked as this was a genuine and relatable talk Sooo many important elements to highlight but what we valued the most was that Irugapatru addressed real stories about real couples going through real issues and having real solutions. There was no lovey-dovey or silly romance; the dialogues were authentic, we felt the pain and love. The movie touched on a wide variety of couple issues that every scene was educational The score and cinematography helped influence our emotions in the way that the director intended to convey his messages. Kudos to all the actors/actresses who captured the soul of their characters. Vikram Prabu and Vidarth were the biggest surprises as they went outside of their comfort zones. This was not a film that you could map out from the beginning, there were many twists, then the momentum increased! Great job cast n crew!

Anyone who is married, separated, Divorce in Process, should take out time to watch this movie. Especially people, who glorify Divorce and separation should watch it to understand and develop a holistic and harmonious perspective towards life and relationships... All actors and actress nailed it in theirs role... Royal salute for the director of the movie...Those who watch out could come out as a better person with some valuable takeaways! This subject which is very useful for the present & old generation couples & also for every family members. This movie clearly shows the importance of a Psychologist for a common man in a simple way... Never miss out this hidden gem...

The movie is excellent, and this is definitely a must watch movie for everyone. In any relationship, there tend to be some misunderstanding resulting from our partners actions which do not meet our expectations. We tend to pick on our partners mistakes, and when similar mistakes is repeated, it turns irritation to anger then becomes hatred. That is the turning point for serious relationship complications. What the movie try to explore is the reason why an unmet expectation turns towards irritation or anger. Is the fault really on our partner or is it because our own weakness. Most of the time we don't realise our weakness within. Lesson learned from this movie : When our partners action do not meet our expectation, hold for a while, look within before reacting.

First of all hatsoff to the director for the research done on modern day couple problems and the way it was brought to the screen(compared to his previous movies). This movie can be shown to couples who all applying for divorce or who are living separately which might change their mind. Next plus point is casting of each characters. Every one did their role really well understanding the characters (especially vidharth and his wife nailed their life characters). And equal screen presence for all three couples. We cannot blame anyone's acting. Music was pleasant to hear(after so many headache noise as music in recent movies) and technically movie was really good. Next plus point is this movie can be watched with family. Editing could have been better since felt little long but never a big lag moment. Only few good movies coming in Tamil industry and this is one among them. Do enjoy in theatres with family.

Will never know who did best (when they breakdown during the second half) Rangesh Arjun Mitra When rangesh was breaking down infront of Mitra,we will have one tear When Arjun breaksdown infront of his manager in washroom , we will have tears in both the eyes Surprisingly when Mitra comes into picture during her breakdown we will be crying... It's not a movie ,it's a journey for the most of the married couples, may be that's y every character in the movie not just acted ,they lived in the movie... Very inspiring and definitely a self analytical movie ... Jus watched it randomly and I'm a fan of this movie...in the world of vulgar movies on every ott , its a great relief to watch this wonderful journey of couples Go for it .it's worth.

Ossam film, hats off to the director... All the lovers and family people really wants to see this movie. First of all we need to realise our mistakes then only you need to expect from others. This is the only thing we are not accepting in our day to day life. Really i understand my mistakes when i saw this movie... Story screenplay dialogue every thing we feel it in our real life story. Final claimax really really superb with the touching message to everyone. Please my suggestion if you are feel always fighting in your family kindly please watch this movie minimum twise really you will change in your attitude. This is the damn sure i am telling...
