The movie which is mainly a documentary about the programmers who got nothing to loloo and everything thing to win in the industry . I am here saying here nothing to loose as they don't get a big budget and worked hard under there limited financial condition to stand up with there great projects . They faced many problems as they got pressurised many times and all that stuffs. But at the end they all got justice for there hard work they put in and got successful .
So , considering this I would say that hard work pays off.

A very well put together and intriguing documentary, no matter if you do not enjoy the subject matter regardless, for a director's first debut the movie was very well done, and looked like he had been making films for decades, and if you didn't appreciate the amount of effort that indie game developers put into there work, you should after watching it. Highly Recommended.
One of my favourite documentaries, maybe it's because i have a soft spot for indie games, especially The Binding Of Isaac, one of my favourite games ever made. The documentary centers around the creators of the games 'Super Meatboy' and Fez, the documentary also makes you hate Microsoft even more than you did before. It also gives you an interesting, back story to the creators, Ed Mcmillen and Phil Fish.

Telling the story of how to make a game by yourself by successful creators, and the life and problems that incur working without the financial support and security that a big company offers but also without the creative oppression so common in the mass media industry. Is especially commendable for non-gamer people and even game-haters that say things like "videogames are entertainment, not art nor beautiful": here you can see with your very eyes the same struggle that a painter, or a filmmaker has when its out of budget, out of time, etc... Very well made and well presented, almost empathic documentary. 7 of 10

An inside look at 4 people's lives that brought us; Braid, The Witness, Super Meat Boy, Binding of Isaac, Fez, etc.. and shows what they sacrifice in order to realize their dreams of making video games. They talk about their constant struggles with, depression, exhaustion, stress, anxiety, social media, isolation, finances and other things.
It's a great documentary for anyone who works or wants to work in the game industry and it's also worth a watch simple because it shows these interesting people trying to actualize their dreams.

Very interesting look at the world of indie game development, following 4 developers with extremely different personalities but with the same passion for making awesome games.

Excellent, in such an impetuous society, we need someone who can persevere in a little dream to the end

The filmmakers focused on four of the most eccentric, pretentious, controversial indie developers they could find -- three of whom were essentially starving themselves while working on their games. It makes for an entertaining film, but it doesn't really represent indie development. That being said: I watched the film 5 times. 9 stars.

How do game developers work? What torments them? What are the pros and cons? Well, the best part about this documentary is when the developers talk about their pains. Personally, I love when you see somebody's pains and the real grit they have to go through in order to get something done. I also liked to see the differences explained between working on a major game where 1000 people are involved and the indies, where you have 1-10 people involved. The bad bit about this is having to sift through tediousness; the filmmakers should have made the film quicker with more pep in its step. After a third into the film, I almost lost consciousness. In the end, it's only interesting to gamers due to how slow it is, which is bad. Better editing could maybe have changed that.
