This movie, I like it because of the music and screenplay. It's better than Indian 1, and I am eagerly waiting for Indian 3. Still, I am a fan of Thalapathy Vijay. But I like this Kamal Haasan character and they said there is a de ageing of kamal hassan. Ever-reliable Kamal Haasan is a highlight for many. Reviewers acknowledge his dedication to the role, especially with the use of prosthetics. If you're a fan of Shankar's visual style, social commentary in films, and Kamal Haasan's acting, then Indian 2 might be worth checking out. It's important to keep in mind that the film has also received mixed reviews, with some criticizing the story, pacing, and even the music. 10/10.

I watched this movie with five of my friends for the second show on the first day. Believe me, we were the only ones in the whole theater. This clearly shows that people set their expectations based on the trailer and the quality of the songs. While A. R. Rahman delivered a masterpiece with extraordinary and refreshing background music, Anirudh's contributions were of low quality.( "Thatha vararu" gave me a headache). The story was gripping for the first 20 minutes until the introduction of Senapathi. In the first part, Senapathi was old and slow, truly embodying an elderly character. However, in this movie, he displays unimaginable moves and has a six-pack body, which is unrealistic for a 100-year-old. The emotional scenes were difficult to watch with terrible bgm, and the use Varma Kalai was an overkill. The key elements that made the original movie special were annoying in this one. Overall, I feel that Shankar shouldn't have attempted a sequel, as it tarnishes the beloved Senapathi character. Sorry to say this, but people will be hesitant to spend money on a part3.

Worst sequel, I guess producers have spare money to destroy. Don't waste you money and time. I watched in cinema but this movie does not even deserve to be watched on YouTube. Such a mental torture. Worst script , worst direction, worst story. I am writing this review while sitting in cinema and watching this crap. Bakwas , bakwas bakwas bakwas. The script was confusing and poorly structured, making it hard to engage with the story. Dialogue felt forced, and plot points were either predictable or nonsensical. I cannot recommend this film to anyone. It serves as a cautionary tale for producers about the importance of ensuring quality in their projects. Save your time and money by avoiding this movie entirely.

Well to start off, don't go into this movie with any expectations. There's no logic and so many unnecessary cringe, cliche scenes. I can't believe this movie took 5 years to make. We're in 2024, and Tamil cinema has evolved so much from before, yet Shankar's movie has failed to live up to those expectations. Shankar's movies this past decade have not been realistic and the writing has been extremely poor. Bro just wasted a ton of money on a bunch of supposedly "cool" scenes when it was honestly just corny. With that money, he could've given it to people in India and that would've made more impact than his movie did. I get what his message was trying to promote and I understand then necessity of it. But doing it in this way is just making it worse. I'm honestly proud of Anirudh for making the music mid and didn't waste his good music on a terrible movie. The best part of this movie was Kadharalz imo, so the bar is set pretty low. I can't believe no one said anything when listening to the script. I had a lot of expectations and now I realized I should've had 0. This may have been one of the worst movies I've ever watched in my life. Shankar bro please do better and step up your game. Tamil cinema is not doing the best rn, so someone come please save us. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time and money.

I usually focus on the good and positive aspects even if the movie is bad. But sadly in this movie, the positive aspects are very few and are overshadowed by the outdated screenplay. POSTIVES: Kamal sir's acting, Vivek sir's and Mano bala sir's presence, Anirudh's BGM, social message regarding corruption. NEGATIVES: Poor screenplay, the makeup and getup doesn't seem to suit kamal sir and looks very low budget and artificial, lengthy dialogues makes it seem like a mega serial, very long runtime ( towards the end you can feel the restlessness of the audience to get out of the theatre ). FINAL VERDICT: Definitely one of the most disappointing movies in the past few years. It's like watching a mega serial in big screen. If you like mega serials then you might like this movie. If this movie was released 20 years back, then maybe it might have been successful. But for the current 2024 audience , this film is an utter disaster. When the Malayalam industry is producing masterpieces, this movie which has a global reach is truly an insult to Kollywood and its image. I have never given such a bad review for any movie.

It is a must watch and NEED of the hour. I like it more because No Blood (shed)y and gangster/revenge fights full of blood (tomato sauce) which is not at all suitable for watching along with family especially with small kids. This is a must and worth watch with family. Story line is good as a second part. Photography is fantastic. Usually, Shankar's film will have memorable songs, but I expect it in INDIAN 3. Here, the songs go well with movie and then we tend to forget it. Make up may be still better. We would see all the Kamal getup from Child till now during intro and the prelude for next part at the end. Siddharth scores well in acting inline with Kamal. Go and get ready to watch the 2 track mission and many good scenes where you can see how corruption has grown in our society. We need to be at least aware to be careful, restrict and protect as appropriate. Must watch with Appa, Amma, Thambi, Akka, Paatti, Thaatha etc. Those who have not watched INDIAN 1...may need to watch it when you get a chance. Watch it in a good theatre and thanks for reading my comments.
