Load of rubbish. Don't bother, because if you do not turn it off after the first 15 minutes, you WILL fall asleep because of it. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. You are better off spending the same amount of time, watching UPGRADE again.

First off, let me just say don't buy into the negative reviews. Some of them are from untrustworthy hack-like individuals with no constructive reasoning behind their rating. This is a nice sci-fi thriller. The lead actress does an amazing job. She's an one-man show. The sci-fi ideas are solid. If there is one flaw, There is a very good reveal at the end. The movie ROCKED, great acting, amazing ending. Hope there's a 2nd part.

Failed in all areas why the implant is necessary. Laughable the implant's best ability for patients is to act as a personal assistant like a smartphone, and tracks your sleep. Made zero sense why go through a complicated surgery to do simple tasks. Implanted doesn't make them have good memory, doesn't record or let them playback memories, doesn't provide responses to tough questions. It was very predictable what the outcome of the story would be and it had zero payoff when it actually came to fruition. Avoid this movie, you'll thank me.

Character plotting is good but the struggle is not changed from beginning to the end.. Weak CGI weak script but perfect performance.

I had to stop after the first 15 mins ..... Fabien Dufils' depiction of Sarah (Michelle Girolami.) didn't grip me in anyway ... we are dropped in at the deep-end in a totally unbelievable scenario. Ha Fabien gone with a B movie format it would have been a least funny.

Going right in.. Very nice follow up to his previous feature, 1 Buck. The film gets you dissolved into the chaotic events of Sara's complications from beginning to end. The film is nicely shot with grittiness and subtleness in place where it needs to be. Well done. Looking forward to see what's instore next for the filmmakers.

I watch it till end but it was a hopeless case. I can assure that all these high reviews are extremely biased. Don't waste your time.

Nice movie, I liked the almost present day timeline, in which we can relate. Even tho this punishing AI can be sometimes difficult to believe in, we can see where the inspiration takes place in todays technology. Not being too much alarming, maybe the message is to be careful with tech, and take care of your relatives... I had a good time watching this movie, very entertaining. I particularly love the photography, color grading is beautiful, and the global art direction of this glitchy visual universe.

Potentially, an excellent film with a great concept; however, without any significant push outside the initial concept and, therefore, it feels like a lot is missing like an Act 2 and 3. The painfully obvious finish-though not an ending-leaves the viewer waiting for the next part long after the credits roll, as though the whole thing was an extended pilot episode for a limited series. Indeed, the film suffers from "franchise syndrome": a grave mistake these days. A movie via instalments, which spent most of its time focused on the inciting incident without story progression-or any advancing the plot or character beyond the hook-only works if it can stand as a contained piece, even if it is open ended, at least such works explore, reveal, and resolve, and this one did not. Sadly, this film repeats itself in varying ways without developing beyond the initial premise, and the replication of the "threat-execute-reward" scenario produces a film that's more than a little predictable after 15 minutes or so; oddly, the imaginative setup quickly becomes an unimaginative tumble through the hedgerow of tedious inevitability, which is a shame, as this had remarkable potential; the apparent aim for making a sequel robs this "first film" of content, content that, presumably, may have been withheld in order to stretch the gimmick, leaving this one shallow and superficial.
