Hugo meets Gin and the fairy tale with Babi ends (or the agony). As much as we want to see more more fairy tales on screen than we admit, love is worth fighting for and in reality it matters who actually care for you in difficult times. Babi was a real 'dogface' (first nickname that H gave her) but worse she's too comfortable with her 'perfect' life, new fiancé etc to fight for the real love she'd with H. I really feel sorry for her, her marriage will be more miserable than her mother's. Hugo finally meets the perfect talanted girl. Gin is absolutely opposite. She's a fighter from the beginning, lives alone with her younger brother, super talanted artist and photographer- she can dance, sing, paint. Gin is amazing and she's not afraid to live, love H and fight for her happiness! She's the winner and this the best ending I have ever expected!!!

Second part is much better, and Hace with Gin are much beautiful couple.

I would have preferred H having returned either having worked overseas or having completed his studies and then look up a job either with his brother or elsewhere. Moreover his silent love for Babi should have continued wherein Babi's parents finally realize that the boy has changed and make way for him to meet Babi to forget the past and reconcile and continue their loving life to really be Three metres above the heaven. Instead I observe H continues with his usual reckless life and ends up a loser. Finally what is H going to do in his life - no one knows. Good acting but could have had a better ending. After all Love conquers all.

This is a great sequel for the movie "three steps above heaven". One of the best romantic sequence I have ever watched. Acting by all the cast was more than adequate, but especially mario casas just nailed it. The chemistry was none like I have seen in movies of different langauge. Only drawback I felt is that, I think much of the story is still left and it feels one more movie could have just finished it with a bang. I know the orignal couple not ending together feels off and at the same time makes it unique. But come on hugo and babbi's chemistry was none like ever seen and the whole series is supposed to be on their love story. What ever people may say, a happy ending brings a smile on audience faces. I also feel katrina and hugo in the movie if involved romantically would have given a little more spice and an easy way for the production of a third film in the series or if not would have just made this a morw complete movie.

The direction of this movie is cool, connecting the parts of 3 steps above heaven very well. The friendships along with love are the best in this movie. A must-watch OG film for those who love -love stories. And these spanish girls are also cute.

Tengo Ganas De ti (I Want You) (2012) This is the Sequel of Tres Metros Sobre el Cielo (Three Steps above Heaven), here you will find a different story because now they grow up and are living separate life , she has BF and hi a new girl, so this is about what happen after your first love. This is better than the first one because is more mature and the performances are more believable, but I have to say I didn't like the new girl too much. When I finished the film I start thinking that this movie is not exactly a love story about a couple, this is the love life of the male main character because here you have the new story of him with the new girl and he been hunting by the memories of his first love. This is definitely better than 3MSC and also very contemporary story. Both movies have a real message at the end. 1- When something is broken it would never be the same. & 2- You need two committed people to make a relationship work. GO: www.facebook.com/ElementaryTips
