The chemistry between Eric LaSall and Gloria Reuben was great. Their story was believable written in everyday life. However, there was no chemistry between Alvina August and Jarod Joseph. Their acting was weak and their interactions felt forced almost as if they didn't like each other. Also, the way they always are too busy to listen to each other mad for a sad story. Overall, I was disappointed in this movie. I was looking forward to seeing the former ER alums together, but their storyline was in the background.

I loved seeing Gloria Reuben and Eriq LaSalle together. And I'm so happy to see a movie aimed at a more mature age range. I get it, millennials have a lot of buying power, but they are not the only demographic. Come on Hallmark.
The acting was great. I've watched this one 3 times already.
Yes, the daughter was a bit annoying but the movie is absolutely worth checking out.

I liked the reunion for Gloria and Erik from their ER days. The acting was decent. I found this story to be so sad. The daughter is so annoying and just pushing her parents while not realizing her marriage should take priority. Normally there is some fun in the Hallmark movies and this one was just sad droopy characters. Hallmark needs some change with their format. 2021 and now the start of 2022 have been mediocre movies at best. So many character with no chemistry. It's ok not to have everyone end up together in the end.

It was nice watching a film with these veteran actors. I wish It was a little bit more of them and less if the daughter. The daughter was very annoying and I was actually hoping for the husband to go after that girl at the mall that caught his eye.

I gave this a 6 for good for one watching.
I liked the younger female lead in last year's Deliver by Christmas. Her role in this was accurate though she played an annoying character. Quite typical of what her experiences had been.
There is a lot of explaining about the situations, in case the viewers don't understand.
The misunderstanding was a bit annoying but taken in the context of the characters perceptions, it was appropriate.
It ended well, and was better than I thought it would be. I liked the actors. There was no wokeness as one review said. Surprisingly well done. These last Hallmark movies are getting better.

This movie aired its first run on the Hallmark Channel, Saturday March 26, 2022 and it was wonderful!
My only downside was too much emphasis was on the Daughter, who was truly annoying and completely unattractive. Her parts took away from the storyline instead of enhancing the story itself.
The great Eric La Salle and Gloria Reuben of "ER" fame, back together again, as second chance loves in each other's lives. This was a very very good, adult romance that was family oriented and well acted. You will enjoy this first rate film. And I absolutely missed and adored seeing Eric La Salle (an accomplished Director) we need more of him, in front of the screen.

Ignore negative badmouthing. The acting was great! The story probably wouldn't happen as often as we wish it would, but it was entertaining. Daughter's character was annoying, although not unlike many within everyone's family. I rank myself as one of many that want more diversity in entertainment. My ancestry is primarily Scottish and Irish and applaud Hallmark for providing this movie.

This film is a well crafted, fresh approach to the light-romance genre. The storyline is original. The characters are relatable. They portrayed vulnerability and pulled you in to the story. The plot is well-paced (except at the end where it rushed to a conclusion). It was simply enjoyable and a wonderful addition to the Hallmark catalog. Well done!
