The title now is of course wrong after 2022's final but that's nitpicking. The film is mostly centered around the 1966 final - A subject that's been used so many times but Geoff Hurst's career was so much more there is very little footage of any other match that he played in. There is also a lot of talking heads who honestly add little and wouldn't be missed. When the story focus on the man it is at it's best like his daughter's passing or having to sign on even then the old school British 'We don't talk about things' is on display. He seems a man of few words. If your interested in Football you'll enjoy it but don't expect a deep dig into the man & his career.
