Holy overacting! Haha This is nothing more than a cheesy Lifetime movie full of clichés left and right. Ntm the acting. Yikes. The story is predictable the entire way through. Literally no originality. I honestly don't know how it got a 5.2 star overall rating. 😆

What happened?!! Poorly directed and photographed. Poorly edited. Poorly scored. Not ONE moment of actual believable gravitas to the movies unremarkable, undeserving stakes. NONE of the actors had any compelling qualities to their performances. They played every predictable, flat, uninteresting beat. Nothing was nuanced or truthful. I've seen other films from this production team, and this one doesn't come close. What a shame.

Honestly I thought the movie was amazing! Especially with Justin Schilling playing Keith! He was outstanding!!! Overall though, great movie!

OMG! This is so bad it makes HBO Daytime Movies look good. In the words of Director Jordan Peele "GET OUT"! It's 90 minutes of your life you will never get back. Clearly these actors have not studied The Kominsky Method. They are not even graduates from Summer Bay High. But its not just the shoddy amateur acting its also the shoddy predictable script, direction etc. Folks are dumb where they come from...so we get dumbed down made for TV movies instead of something worthy of the Big Screen. I gave it one only because #IMDB won't let you post a zero score rating. What the heck was Netflix thinking by adding this to the roster? To think I could have been watching Aussies kick butt for Gold at the Olympics in Tokyo 2020 instead of investing time in this dogs breakfast.

Really cool movie! The music was really good and the actors and actresses did a great job!

I love hostage kind of movies but this is so bad! Apart from the bad acting, predictability and stupid script it might be quite OK. Not. Lol. It's noticeable the amount of times they say 'besides', who is the cringe man who wrote such script cringe? Besides (lol) who would say 'I am hungry let's go for dinner' right after being kept hostage and going through some traumatising hell? God help me! My brains felt undervalued after watching this rubbish, really.

It has a very lifetime feel to it which isn't always a bad thing but this movie is slow, predictable and feels like it has been done 1000 times before and it has been done way better. The acting wasn't horrible but it's definitely a bunch of B or even C list actors at best. There is no build up to things, it's just consistently slow. The bad guys don't seem bad or scary, the family are dull and their background story is just so run of the mill. Overall it's something that you can just throw on for background noise vs actually sitting and paying attention to because the movie itself is not very entertaining. I gave it three stars because it's not the worst movie you will ever watch but you could definitely skip it and not have missed a thing!

Acting Terrible Story predictably terrible Script terrible. It's quite a good comedy because there are so many flaws to have good chuckle at!
