95 percent of this movie is interesting in a Friday night kind of way. Then they get to the clubhouse turn and go for lunch, like a long lunch. What a waste of an ending. I mean it is so bad, beyond words bad, I wish there was something clever I could say, to ease the pain, but I would like to find the script writer and hang him by the same hooks until he found a "hook". Imagine an ad for a Ferrari, winding roads, beautiful camera work, then the ad ends up with the car crashing into a brick wall, and the driver dies. That is kinda' this movie. Hope the nasty Asian actor finds a career, she is quite good, actually. If you have this movie in your left hand and War of the Worlds in your right, take War of the Worlds.....which used to be the worst ending movie ever.

I'm glad I didn't pay theater prices to see this flick. It has an interesting premise, a moderate amount of shock and blood, but fails to wrap up with a really good explanation of what/who/why was the motivation behind the killings. As a police detective, Quaid comes off strong and believable, but his role as a father is confusing, seemingly opting to drop twenty dollar bills on the counter in place of adequately caring for two children. The loss of a wife was not overplayed, but lacked enough details to understand his remorse for her loss. I was also confused by non-identifiable skylines and the presence of the Canadian flag, and wasn't sure where this detective was really employed. Oh, well, they all can't be winners. Better luck next time, Dennis.

I watched it from start to banal end only because I wanted to see how Quaid was holding up in the LaLa land of trash entertainment. Did he ever promise better? I must've believed so long time ago...just can't think of a worthy exemplar that Mamma Q would've felt pride in. Well I'm very ashamed for Randy. How he has disappointed his Maw..

In my opinion this is the closest you can come to the movie Seven. Dark intense and not easy to find out who did it.

As a lot of people are pointing out, the film does seem to drop a bit at the end. But it's a solid "Se7en" type film, way better than others like it. Without giving anything away, I will say certain "late developments" keep it from earning an 8, and a longer film with a bit more attention to detail, could have been a 9. Still, definitely one of the better police procedural thrillers I've seen in a while.

Ok. I just started watching Horsemen and it sounded interesting because it is about the 4 horsemen of the Apocalyspe and I love stories about them. I just got one problem. Detective Aidan Breslin does not look anywhere like Dennis Quaid. I have seen him in many movies and this guy does not look like him at all.

The first half of the film is quite nice. The atmosphere and mystery are strong and the actors deliver a proper performance. Unfortunately, the more the plot reveals itself the weaker it gets. I don't want to spoiler but the grand finale is not only predictable. Even worse it is stupid and ruins almost the entire good things at the beginning.

The movie is too predictable, after watching the half of it, you know by 90% how it will end. The quality of actors (especially the Chinese girl) could not be worse. She tries to act scary and mysterious, but it didn't go further than an attempt. There is an attempt to bring some humor in the movie, and I must say some lines were funny, as much it can be funny in such kind of films. That would be probably the single positive thing, I can mention about the film. You would expect, that they will link all events at the end together. Sadly it was not like that. I wish I wouldn't have spent my time by watching this film. Nothing new, nothing special, nothing...

Yeah, it wasn't as good as Seven, or Agent X, but it was still good. I've always liked serial killer movies, and this had some really good scenes and kills and characters and twists. Zhiyi, I think was the Chinese girls name, was EXCELLENT. Her character really got under my skin, great work. Dennis Quaid was convincing without being too cliché, just a little. The ending was almost predictable, but only because of good foreshadowing...the clues were there if you watched for them I think it was a pretty intelligent flick, with people being expected to figure things out for themselves, I think some of the low ratings probably come from people who need lots of "flashback" scenes to understand the plot of a movie. A solid, entertaining, gotta recommend it to your friends movie, even if we won't be talking about it in ten years.
