Another Netflix film that I took a punt on. The misses loves revenge films and despite the slow pace the film was enjoyable enough. Luke Goss is a decent actor and the reat of the cast are alright.

HOLLOW POINT is another zero-budget B-movie made on the cheap and on the quick, with no attention paid to decent direction or proper plotting. It makes me long for the days of Steven Seagal's straight-to-DVD work, which is saying something. The cover is a cheat, promising a Luke Goss movie when in fact he plays in support. The cast is the only interesting thing about this which is why it's a shame that an unknown quantity in the form of Sri Lankan actor Dilan Jay plays the lead and is very dull in the role. Lower down in the cast we get Michael Pare, JuJu Chan and Bill Duke, but they can't lift the spirits of a very mundane little would-be thriller.

They should turn this into a series. Proper kick ass where justice is done without the help

When you do a whole revenge film where a wife and daughter are murdered the least you expect is something worth getting emotionally invested in. Whole movie felt cheesy and unfulfilling, not to mention unrealistic. Not enough emotion and REVENGE for the genre. Could have cringed my eyes out my head through the whole movie and was relieved when it was over. Do not waste your time.

Waste of time the acting is terrible the storyline is boring and predictable Luke Goss has a bad American accent and the fight scenes are crap. If you have got time for a laugh and don't mind wasting some of your life give it a watch.

Poor movie. Very poor acting from almost everyone; Luke Goss was OK.
Spoilers. . .
Vigilante/revenge movie with no real investment in the characters. Sadly Dilan Jay has not learned how to cry convincingly. Sad, puppy dog face does not cut it.
He is clearly fit and has fighting skills - but to get beat up on his first day in prison then not again for 10 months while he 'learns how to fight by reading books and bulking up' is beyond ridiculous.
Bad guys who allow good guys to smash their hands with wrenches?
I could go on but I have lost the will to live.

Great action sequences for low budget movie. Acting is pretty decent too.

Turned it off after 20 mins. Acting was rubbish, plot was weak. Just a hideous mess of a film. If i could give it zero, I would..

Unfortunately I was only able to survive watching only 30min of this absolute crap acting FROM the very beginning. I was expecting more as I have seen other movies with Luke Goss in them that I enjoyed, but not this piece of rubbish.

Completely predictable with a rich clichéd center. Stale dialogue and horrible pacing really bring this movie down. Acting is sub-par from the likes of Jay Mohr, Michael Paré and the lead character Dilan Jay. Not worth your time at all.
