Kids will enjoy this and some adult off color humor, likely inappropriate for kids. The story wasnt complex and the adult acting wasn't wonderful. Kids were good actors. Similar to a goosebumps type movie with a diverse cast.

This was a VERY cute movie. I laughed. The comedy was good. And, they actually had me until the very end.

To be honest this film has had way more positive reviews than negative, but I take them both in stride. This film is as much fun to watch as it was to make. I knew from the very beginning that viewers needed to fall in love with the two lead characters Gabby (Gabriella Pastore) and Lulu (Ja'ness Tate). Once that happens, you feel like you are jumping on your bike and riding through the neighborhood with them. The story is very simple, but like all things in life, it has different layers to it, that the talent was really able to bring out. You see real people dealing with real life. I am also very proud of how diverse our entire cast is, representing the world we all strive to live in. I learned a long time ago, the one thing you can never do as an filmmaker is try to please everyone. That will never happen, and you will lose yourself and the story you were trying to tell in the process. I grew up loving Encyclopedia Brown, Nancy Drew, Escape From Witch Mountain, Pipi Longstocking. This is the spirit that Hidden Orchard Mysteries represents and if you enjoyed those type of films growing up, this will take you back. This is the type of film you can sit and watch with your kids. Some of the jokes are for them, some of them are for the parents watching. As a father that has always loved taking my daughter to the movies, I made sure that there was a little something for everyone. I am so proud to have been able to bring this story to life, and I can not wait to share the next installment of Hidden Orchard Mysteries with all of you!

Honestly this whole movie felt like an uninteresting long bad skit. The acting was ehh most of the time, music was absolutely awful, generic, and not interesting at all. Cinematography wasn't anything special, it wasn't good, but was not entirely bad. For one shot they used a cropped scene, and the quality difference was very noticeable.. Lots of cliche scenes, dumb dialogue, unnecessarily complex and boring plot. Save yourself the 85 minutes and go watch something else. 3/10.

The review that said cheaply made and rushed skit, is TOTALLY WRONG!! what's funny is this person could never even afford to make the movie yet along criticize it. but the film plays to the nostalgia of kid detective stories and the cast has fun to go along with it! I don't listen to critics who've never made a movie in their life and tend to just be jealous!! LOL!! Watch this with your kids and enjoy it for the light-hearted film that it is. I enjoyed it and you will too!

Quick and simple I thought I movie was rather meh. Maybe good for children wanting to watch something but anyone over 10 would be bored within 30 minutes. The acting was poor but once more if you are young this movie is probably something you would enjoy :) And the jokes...hah xd I laugh more at the fact that whoever wrote those jokes thought any of them were funny.
