It is the kind of movie where you get more and more confused as it goes along on where the plot is going. And suddenly, everyone, including the dog is dead. And the movie is over.

I gotta admit, sometimes I don't go for indie movies, but this one really stood out to me after watching the trailer and I was right. The start was little slow but oh my gosh the end was totally worth it. Really felt the 3 actors and their secrets. Good view,.

A painful breakup sends Grace (Emily Redpath) to Liv (Sarah Alexandra Marks) and Edward's (Louis James) country manor. Before she even sets foot in their home, a neighbor (Blake Ridder, who also directed and wrote this) tries to warn her. But about what?
Well, Grave and Edward aren't getting along too well. And Grade wonders, is it her fault? After all, she did sleep with Edwae the last time she was around them. And then she notices the bruises all over her friend.
For a debut movie with three young actors and a director making his first full-length film, Help works way better than it has any right to. It's tense, it has some twists and it tells its story well.

Such a humongous tone-deaf misstep.
Where to begin? As the film went on and I felt more and more sorry for the actors involved, (except David, the flower eating savant/mentally deranged character) I couldn't help but wonder what colour crayon the screenplay was written in. It was that bad.
One line in-particular, "Strap on this" (you'll have to watch the film to fully appreciate the Tommy Wiseau-ness of this) had me begging for Putin to hurry up and put us all out of our misery.
Poor poor actors. I hope they find happiness in another film.

I really wanted to like this film, but it did take some turns that I wasn't expecting. When watching the movie trailer I had no idea this was going to end up being a movie about domestic violence. I did feel like this film makes a mockery of women who are in abusive relationships. I was emotionally hurt by the twist in storyline of this weird fantasy that women in abusive relationships are really just psychotic, actually self-harming themselves and abusive to the men that they are with when this couldn't be further from the truth. The ending of this movie and the way that abused women are portrayed as liars left me heartbroken. It's not any of the actors fault, they did a great job and the quality of the film was well done, but I wanted to speak on the storyline itself.

Holy moly it was tooooooo much talking and the scenes went on forever. It went nowhere... It was kinda a tease the whole time of something erotic that never came. Instead it turned in a different direction, but it was typical predictable "horror" twist. And when I finally thought the talking would stop it continued.. again and again.
Plus the amateur production didn't help. It was worse than a TV movie. SKIP!

I can only imagine the 9 and 10 ratings are by friends, family or cast. The script and acting are painful. Half the time the actors are walking about like they're in a dream and apparently you need threatening music for no reason just to walk from room to room. Flashback shots are disjointed and take a while to figure out what's going on and that is what they are. The final scenes were more hilarious than dramatic.
Two stars awarded for Grace's stateside boyfriend having the sense to break off at the start of the movie.

This is one of the worst films I have ever seen in my life. There were no redeeming qualities, I watched the whole film in hopes that it would improve but alas it did not. The script and dialogue were beyond painful and they were made worse by a terrible cast. I had really high hopes for this film and I'm sad to say that I was beyond disappointed. This makes films like sharknado look like absolute masterpieces. Avoid at all costs.

I don't think I've actually ever written a movie review before. But I'm so annoyed that I paid to rent this movie after seeing it had a 100% rating that I had to say something. It seriously said it had a higher rating than Summer of Soul. This movie is a 15% at best.
It's slow, predictable, the dialogue is stupid and there's not much redeeming except for the eye candy of the actors and of the gorgeous house where the entire thing takes place.
Please help me heal from this experience by not paying to rent this movie.
