The six Green Lantern stories in a single animation film. Kilowog and Mogo are the coolest. Thanks to HBO Asia for giving us this.

Many criticize the way the movie is constructed, but I must admit that I liked how it blended the origin stories of different Lanterns into this movie's central story.
A rookie of the Green Lantern Corps, Laira, is on a missin with the other Lanterns after some happenings urge them into action. She accompagnies Hal Jordan who, along with other Lanterns, tells her of how each of them made it into their collective storybook. Much of the runtime is spent on these origin stories, but I'll still defend this format, because of how it pays off in the end as Laira grows as an up-and-coming Green Lantern.
The animation is great, every character is well voiced, and the format of an anthology movie operating around a simple plot is good for introducing newcomers to the Green Lantern Corps and a handful of its members.

This is one of the best action movies I have seen. It has great acting and a great story line. 10 out of 10.

Nathan Fillion does a great GL as he gets involved in a conspiracy and has to battle fellow GL's to keep things normal. As usual, DC Animated does a fine job.

Arisia, newly recruited to the Green Lantern Corps, is suffering from nerves before her first mission, so Hal Jordan tries to put her at ease by telling her tales of famous Green Lanterns of the past.
This feature is, by definition, episodic, and anyone who wants to watch a single story is going to be disappointed. But for those who want to enjoy Tales Of The Green Lantern Corps - a comic title which enjoyed some popularity for a while - this is a treat. It's good to see many of the other Lanterns featured, although the voice work isn't always what one would wish for: Jason Isaacs leaves Sinestro lacking in gravitas and self-importance, and Henry Rollins is a rather lightweight voice for Kilowog.
For all that, this is good fun for GL fans.
