Over dramatization, ridiculous camera angles, semi-clad villain's girlfriend, predictable twists and turns, slow delivery of dialogues. This seems to be RGV's standard formula for making a don-related movie. That formula didn't work in this movie. What a waste of good actors like Amitabh Bachan & Jackie Shroff.

This is one movie where we can say that the best screen writers, directors and actors fail in making a film. Everything looks like top notch but the film is boring, the first half or second, everything is boring. Acting is good, photography is good, Actors are thespians, the script is a disaster. Perhaps Ramu is getting clichéd now and he must give way to other directors, he has done new it in the past he can do it again. All in all Sarkar 3 does not even stand near to its earlier prequels. Don't watch it to disappoint yourself

Sarkar 3 - Below average movie. There was no need to make this movie. Movie is about Subash Nagre, his hold on common man, his rivals and a sudden appearance of his grandson. Story starts with how the grandson of Subash Nagre got impressed with the way of working of his grandfather and joined him. Progresses with aftereffects of the grandson coming on board and ends with how peace was made with the help of politics and violence. Story was very poor. Ramu tried to reinstate his career by the Sarkar franchisee however the lack of proper script and direction failed it. Dialogues were not impressive. There's too much use of background music to create a dreadful impact however the lack of strong script and dialogues maked the movie loses it's impact. AB has nothing new to show as there was scope in the script. Amit was average. Yami was just a showpiece who was there just to smile and stare when somebody says something. Waste of Manoj Bajpai's talent. Jacky failed to make an impact as a Don with awful dialogues. Couple of times Amitabh Bachaan spoke few lines in marathi and director make no attempt to have a proper pronunciation. Climax was made in a hurry. Overall there's no reason to watch this movie.

A typical Ram Gopal Varma movie which had something that was missing in his recent ventures. It gives a hint that RGV might have regained his touch to at least make a decent movie. Sarkar 3 is decently written and directed but has nothing unique or impacting.

Sarkar 3, a political crime thriller film directed by Ram Gopal Varma, the latest one in the Sarkar series absolutely falls flat. Sarkar 3 has nothing new to offer, rather none of the scenes are exciting enough to make one watch the film. The palace politics, as it is defined and shown in the film, is inexplicable. Ram Gopal Varma does not showcase any new perspective or any new aspect through Sarkar 3. The screenplay and editing are not at all deft. As a viewer, I kept wondering what is the overall idea behind making this film. The film has the same old story of a leader who with his power of influence has earned many enemies as well as supporters. It also has the story of deceit, manipulations, betrayal, playing double games etc. The mood in every frame of the film is grim. There is not a single moment in the film which is light. As far as the character sketching is concerned, even the most powerful character has been portrayed in a very weak manner.
Sarkar 3 is the third in the series. Sarkar aka Subash Nagre (Amitabh Bachchan) is still powerful. He is a loner. His trademark hand-wave can still mesmerize thousands of people.
The first half of the film sees Amit Sadh's entry as Shivaji, the grandson of Sarkar. Shivaji chooses to address his grandfather as Sarkar only. Ronit Roy as Gokul and Parag Tyagi as Raman are Sarkar's credible aids. But once Shivaji comes, troubles begin in this camp. Shivaji is in love with Anu (Yami Gautam) who is the daughter of Sreeram who was killed by Sarkar. The film moves further without any twists and turns, any major conflicts, without any unpredictability of the plot. The tempo of the film is very slow.
We have seen Amitabh Bachchan in Sarkar and Sarkar Raj earlier. Nothing new is added, no new dimension is added to his role. He slurps tea, offers tea to his friends as well as foes when they visit him. Abhishek Bachchan's photograph with garland is almost there in every frame.
Amit Sadh is a wonderful actor. We have seen him creating magic in Kai Po Che, Sultan etc. but here his role is sketched out very poorly. Whereas, his role was supposed to be at par with Sarkar, but it does not happen so.
Manoj Bajpayee has the knack of getting into any character he plays, but he did not have much to do as Govind Deshpande in the film. His character had very less of screen space. A very talented actress Rohini Hattangadi as Govind's mother also has a very small role.
Jackie Shroff's role as businessman Michael Vallya is perhaps the most unexplained character in the film, though he plays the mastermind behind many conflicts but the scenes given to him are absolutely absurd.
Rest of the actors Supriya Pathak, Ronit Roy, Parag Tyagi, Yami Gautam and others are wasted in this pointless dark film.
Sarkar 3 has nothing new to offer, rather none of the scenes are exciting enough to make one watch the film. The palace politics, as it is defined and shown in the film, is inexplicable. Ram Gopal Varma does not showcase any new perspective or any new aspect through Sarkar 3.

Summary (no spoilers)
This movie is the third installment to RGVs Sarkar trilogy, which shows the exploits of a powerful political figure.
My Review (no spoilers)
The plot of this movie Is the same all over again. Kind off bored with watching the same movie again and again. Amitabh Bachchan did a good job as usual but the rest none of them came up to the mark. Only thing I enjoyed in this movie is the "Govinda" BGM as usual. There was one song in this movie which interested me and it was sung by Amitabh Bachchan himself. The ending of this movie was predictable and not so great. I think it's time they lay down this franchise. Overall not so great movie with the same plot as always.
My Recommendation
No due to the plot I would suggest not to watch this movie.

Sarkar 3, directed by Ram Gopal Varma, is a dark film about 'Sarkar' Subhash Nagre, who, after the death of his son Shankar in the previous installment, is angrier than ever. The movie has a new set of enemies, a Kejriwal-esque politician, a bereaved daughter and the return of his grandson Shivaji (son of Vishnu Nagre), who has motives of his own, and how Sarkar and his trusted aides deal with the menace.
Some scenes of the movie show the talent RGV possesses, and which blew the minds of the movie-goers in the 90's. He has had a long career if making dark movies, starting from Shiva to Sarkar. But sadly, as mentioned, it is only in glimpses. Some scenes are totally absurd, and some characters are illogical. But, the movie is much better than the previous few films of RGV, which were totally unwatchable.
The dialogues of the movie are for the most part okay, but some make you roll your eyes over. I am a big fan of the "Govinda Govinda" chant, and it set the mood of the movie. The Ganpati Aarti in the movie was very well done, and a few scenes involving Subhash and Shivaji were well shot.
Coming to the performances, Amitabh Bachchan aces the role of Subhash Nagre yet again. Although some dialogues were a bit weird, Bachchan sir does a fine job. Amit Sadh as Shivaji is great too, and so is Yami Gautam as Annu. Jackie Shroff was a bit over the top and the dialogues given to him were weird and odd. Ronit Roy was intense and did a fine job with the limited dialogue. Supriya Pathak was good too.
All said and done, this movie could have been much better. But it could have been much worse, and thank God and the actors of the movie, to make sure that it wasn't.

Nothing new in this same political drama that continued.. Story is very simple and straight forward. Don't know why Bollywood keep repeating the story again and again over and over. All most felt asleep in some parts.
Don't want to discuses about it anymore feels like wasting time.

Being a fan of Amitabh Bacchan and Sarkar (Part 1), my expectations from the film were way too high! But was disappointed after watching the movie. The suspense was created but after a point they were just stretching the story line and then the story became too obvious to guess. Compared to Sarkar this one wasn't able to create the same hold. The feeling we got when heard theme music in Sarkar that was missing in this one. Talking about acting Big B has justified his character of Subhash Nagre, no flaw there. Amit Sadh also up to a certain extend made justice to his character. Yami Gautam was a disappointment. She didn't have much to do in the movie. Other then them performance of other actors was though not applaud-able but was not even substandard.
So overall, the movie is a one time go but you will not miss anything if you don't go.
