Good People

I don't understand people these days. This is well directed, well acted thriller worth seeing. Intense, dramatic and with great cast, both good and villians.

I liked this movie. It was realistic fiction that was entertaining to watch. There is excellent acting among all the main characters, and the story line is so believable. The only reason I can not rate it a 10 is that this movie was oh so predictable. As usual, there is no honesty among thieves, which is the premise of this movie. Then, of course, the underdog always wins. The climax of the movie was very reminiscent of "Home Alone," so I knew what was coming the moment that I saw the set towards the end. The predictability is the only reason I can think of the movie having such a low overall rating. However, when watching realistic fiction, extravagant happenings would convert the realistic to ridiculous. It stayed true to it's genre. I would recommend this movie to all movie-lovers, but I would be shocked if it got an Oscar.

Good People is predictable yet still suspenseful. A good story that examines one of humanity's worst traits - greed. Excellent cast who give understated, powerful performances. All in all an entertaining thriller.

The movie was an ok watch that I somewhat regretted, great cast and acting but the title should be "Good, Stupid People" as these people make stupid decisions over and over again and not just the key plot points. Also many things in the film are beyond stupid from the very beginning with thieves sitting in car scoping their target location right in front of the bar in small empty parking lot... to victims returning to their houses... to plotting scheme with police outside their hotel where the thief has already called and alerted that he's watching. Don't forget throwing the bag of millions in cash repeatedly in the back of a pickup. Not a surprise I had never heard of this film.

This is a compilation of dumb people. Spoiler alert : Couple makes bad decisions non stop. But hey, he is a real sniper with a nail gun. And the so called organized gang are probably the most idiotic group of people put together. Killing eachother and getting killed by a carpenter with no skills . The story behind the cop is never explained and he must be a terminator as he just can't die. I usually finish movies out of respect for the people making it but this was a tough one to sit out. Let's rename this movie "dumb people".

Don't listen to these boring American reviews regarding this thriller!!! I thought both two leading cast members were great as the American everyday next door neighbors living in London. The plot was great and it actually did keep me interested regardless of the ups and downs of the acting. James Franco was very good as the supportive actor/Husband and Kate Hudson..WOW amazing lead!! where has she been over the last 10 years!!! Bad ass yanks living in London, no spoilers!! The detective was very charming and a great overall love story etc LDN TOWN STYLE :D :D :D definitely worth the watch 9/10

yea.... the thriller is basically everything you need to see about the film. Not much exactly left to see. I only went to see the film just because there is nothing else to see in the theatre. The cast is great tho... I mean who wouldn't want to see Kate Hudson and James Franco naked in the shower together. Yea... thats basically the most interesting thing in the entire film. However, shooting the film in London made absolute no sense and useless except having a bunch of supporting characters speaking in elegant British accent. The concept of the film is great but the storyline is weak. It's totally looks like something we already saw too many times. The climax is not great either... I didn't even know it was the climax of the film until it was half-way through since I was expecting something for interesting to happen.... But overall... it was something nice to see on TV but not recommended if you want to spend quality times spending your money in cinema...
