A movie about a couple of characters in the underground crime world. Not everyone set outs to become a gangster obviously. And once you're in, it's tough to get out. And in this case almost impossible. Very iconic shots (like the one on the poster or German DVD for that matter) and a really good cinematography overall help the movie. It might feel like a drama of the week movie, but it's better than that (though there are quite a few really good made for TV Dramas too). The acting is more than decent and while there is not that much action in the movie, it's tense from start to finish. Especially once you get to know the character (one after the other) and hopefully do care, for at least one of them (there is nudity and mature themes, that are really dark in nature, but I'm sure you read about it and acknowledge that fact).
