Not much to say here. Acting was even worse than the "movie" W. The movie is full of easily provable lies. Misrepresents just about every character from their real life stories. Another example of the radical liberal and hypocritical Hollywood left. They claim to be advocates of woman rights and the advancement of woman. And of course, the first woman to make it as far and fast in the male dominated political arena, is brutally attacked and misrepresented. I do not like many things about Palin myself, but this movie grossly misrepresents her and every other characters real life views. The "film" is all FULL of inaccuracies and all out lies. A young, attractive woman threatened a pillar of liberal propaganda that conservatives are against woman advancement. They see this woman quickly move up in the ranks and get scared that their propaganda machine could be derailed. And what do you get? High profile Hollywood actors making the classic mistake of mixing politics with their careers on a film that doesn't even have the credentials to make it to the big screen. Pathetic movie. Stop being so afraid of the woman. I know I know, haters are going to hate.

It amazes that there are people out there who actually believe this movie is factually accurate, even in the most abstract sense. The information presented to the viewer is outlandish and unbelievable, and any sane person should be able to observe this. There is no question that Sarah Palin has her faults, but not to the extent portrayed in the film. Since this film was hastily made, it should come as know surprise that the end product was garbage. The assumptions made in the film that Sarah Palin did not know about the role of the Queen, or who was responsible for the 9/11 attacks are unfounded. Julianne Moore portrays Palin as a simple minded soccer mom who at times mirrored the personality of another simple minded character, Forest Gump. I understand this movie is pure propaganda but at least make it somewhat believable.Although I had extremely low expectations for this movie, I was still left in utter disbelief that this movie made it past the production process. Immediately after watching the film, I watched the Vanilla Ice movie "Cool as Ice", to try and remind myself that "Game Change" is not the worst film ever made. Needless to say, I left my one star rating for "Game Change" and added two stars to "Cool as Ice".

Game Change is a book covering the 2008 election. The movie Game Change is part documentary (it uses real footage of Obama, Biden, Anderson Cooper, Katie Couric, Tina Fey, etc.) and part reality show docudrama using actors to portray Palin & McCain. McCain is an after thought. Everything & everybody from 2008 is a footnote. The movie is all Palin all the time. The most insignificant details of her life are magnified to historical proportions. If Sarah talks to her soldier son on the phone, if Sarah goes jogging, if Sarah doesn't like the lipstick being applied to her, etc. etc. Every detail of her life is fodder for the liberal hate machine. When did a skit on Saturday Night Live or a Katie Couric interview ever become so important in the big scheme of things? The worst thing about this movie is not what they put into it but what they left out of it: Obama. Much is made over the fact that Palin was never properly vetted. Yet the fact that Obama who had zero executive experience is not vetted at all. Biden who was a United States Senator for over 30 years is never examined as to why he would be a good candidate. Can anyone name one accomplishment in this 30 year senate career? Obama had served less than one term in the senate & his one claim to fame was a speech he gave at a convention. HBO would be better served if they had financed a movie called THE JOHN EDWARDS STORY. Edwards was also a one term senator but at least the movie would contain a little more drama than Game Change. Sex, adultery out-of-wedlock bastards, and more sex. Sex sells. Just ask Hillary.

I have a mind of my own, at least I want to think so, but, I was influenced enough to give Game Change a miss. I was told this was a hatchet job - I must admit that the comments came from Republicans mostly - I finally saw Game Change last night, It literally blew my mind. Hatchet job? What are you talking about? I felt for her, the film humanizes her and somehow explains without partisan hysteria, how we got there, that in a way is to explain how we got here in 2017. Julianne Moore is superb, superb! Not a single false note or cheap shot. I also felt for John McCain, the American hero who told us that Sarah Palin was ready to to be President. The torment in John McCain through Ed Harris's eyes is more eloquent that any line of dialogue. As is Nicolle Wallace, played brilliantly by Sarah Paulson. Her torment is also so real you can touch it. A special mention should go to Woody Harrelson, es Steve Schmidt, extraordinary. Writers, directors and everybody involved deserve oodles of praise. They told us a piece of recent American history about a woman who thought her Vice Presidency was "God's plan"

"Game Change" is probably the most exaggerated, fictional, propaganda movie so far this year, produced by one of the most left-wing, liberal Hollywood actors, Tom Hanks. We are to assume that the movie is entirely true, which it is not. The truth is stretched so far that this movie cannot be considered factual. If you followed any of the 'live' debates or done any research on McCain and Pain, you will realize that this is a mostly fictional story. The movie fails to recognize the positive effects that the pair had on the American grassroots public at large and fails to recognize all the positive 'change' that Pain made in the state of Alaska. This movie makes Palin look like a complete idiot, which she definitely is not. Somewhere in between "Game Change" and "Undefeated" is the true McCain/Palin story.

There are a few actors that I liked in this film. Now, I'll be sure to never pay to see them again. If more will do the same, they may get the hint. I know their ideology is very important to them, but I know the dollar is even more so. Tom Hanks and the rest of this crew want everything handed to them (money and fame), but deride those who want to help establish a level playing field so those that have not can rise to success. Helping Obama make the USA a socialist nation does nothing but sooth their egos. Anyone thinking this piece of "art" is anything but an election ad for Obama is fooling themselves.

This movie is just absolutely - bad. I was fascinated at some of the recent news about how all of the actors portraying Republicans donated 100% to the Democrats. I was very curious as to whether the actors would vilify their characters, or actually act like good actors. It was really a bit nauseating to see how these actors butchered their roles, making fools of themselves not only on the screen, but in real life. These actors are not actors, but just playing themselves in real life, as if to entertain their friends. It is a bit disgusting to see movies get so bad. I saw Alfred Hitchcock the other night, and could only wonder, what has gone wrong with American movies? Alfred Hitchcock could deal with real people, who deal with the real issues of life. So much of movies today is full of scenes and behavior that no one sees in real life, that confuse the surreal with reality. Shakespeare, Camus, and Dostoyevsky dealt with the real issues of the human plight and the human psyche. Now we get just caricatures of caricatures, played by actors who march to the same bizarre drummers that they think it's real. Perhaps they have too much money to have any idea of what reality is like anymore. You have to go to Turner Classics to see any good movies. I am not a Sarah Palin supporter, as one might think, but I can tell when a role has been played by someone who has a personal agenda, and whose acting bears little relation to real life. I am sure that this movie will get great reviews in Hollywood, today's version of mass conformity of dense thinking actors who find comfort and solace in conformity. The people of Hollywood are basically a joke, who understand little about the human predicament, and can act like a real person who can convey a meaningful message that real people can relate to regarding life, not politics and lockstep conformity. It is a joke to read articles about "The 100 Conservative Actors," because there are so few that they look more like targets for the Hollywood elite. Politics aside, it takes courage to think differently than the mass Hollywood psyche. Turner Classics, Alfred Hitchcock, Casablanca, movies about real people, and not political statements. Hollywood is so full of dim-witted people who think they are smart because they think like everyone else. With role models like this, who have values like this, who can't relate to the real issues of life, art no longer contributes to human achievement. This is not a serious movie, it is full of caricatures that you would expect to find. It isn't funny to look at how ridiculous Sarah Palin looks. It's funnier to think of the people who play these stupid caricatures, and are proud of the bread they baked. The actors have failed to make the politicians look silly, but have succeeded in making themselves look silly. How I long for the good movies of yesterday. Those days seem to be over, all that is left is a fantasia of fantasy.
