I like TikTok and some real talent you can enjoy there for few minutes at the time. Some are so good, you can watch everything they do. Some are so cringe, that at the moment you see them, you'll swipe up knowing that they are bad. That's the way this movie made me feel immediately. In the first few minutes of bad makeup, bad music, bad editing, bad plastic surgery and bad acting i couldn't care less, and i knew it was a waste of time. Believe me when I praise TikTok as good entertainment, because some people are really talented, and it's quick..., This movie doesn't have any of the good qualities of a none budget project. Just look at the eyelashes of the main character and imagine the rest.

What the hell was this?! Who in his right mind decided to write, direct, cast, produce and do all that other "good" stuff for this abomination?! I just can't believe it? Someone actually thought this crap was worth seeing by others? This should have been a short story at best! And one at some bizarre horror stories convention or something! It blows my mind! I mean i could go into details, but that would be traumatic for me. Let's just say, this movie did everything wrong! Has zero common sense, and the biggest crime is the characters limit for writing this review, YEAH, i just wrote more story and dialog than the whole movie had! I saw no warning sign for this, so i will write one for you! Warning! DO NOT watch this! It's that bad!

Directed by Brandon Slagle (Crossbreed), based on James Cullen Bressack's story and adapted by Robert Thompson, Forst stars Vernon Wells as Grant and Devanny Pinn as Abbey, a father and daughter who have not seen one another for years. She wants him to be part of her life as well as the part of the life of the child she is pregnant with. They go fishing and on the way, the car slides off the road, stranding them on the side of a dangerous mountain during a storm. Grant tries to go for help while Abbey is trapped inside the car, covered in blood and near death thanks to injuries and freezing weather blasting through the smashed windows. As she struggles through madness, she'll do anything to stay alive. Seriously, I looked down for a moment at the end and I was absolutely shocked by this movie. How often does that happen? Oh yeah - that wolf on the cover totally shows up too. But man, what happens in the third act? You're either going to be so astounded you'll pull up closer or quit this movie in disgust. There's nothing in-between. Trust me. I picked up the 2022 thriller "Frost" based on the movie's cover. It was a semi-interesting cover, and with it being a movie that I had never seen, nor even heard about, of course I opted to watch it. Writers James Cullen Bressack and Robert Thompson put together a relatively straight forward script. However, the contents of the storyline was just too thin to properly sustain 80 minutes of movie. And that made watching "Frost" a somewhat boring and disappointing experience. Especially since the movie had a very monotonous narrative, and it was so predictable that you knew what happened long before it did. "Frost" has a very small cast ensemble, and the movie suffered from that. Not only because the acting performances was questionable, but also because the performers virtually had very little to work with in terms of script, storyline, dialogue and character gallery. I was only familiar with Vernon Wells on the cast list, and he isn't exactly my go-to actor for entertainment. Director Brandon Slagle delivered a movie that was watchable, but hardly a movie that made a lasting impression. And come tomorrow, I am sure that the memory of "Frost" will be swallowed up by the mists of oblivion. "Frost" is not a movie that I would recommend you to rush out and get to watch. Nor is it a movie that I will ever return to watch a second time, as it hardly could sustain the first viewing. The ending of the movie was just a slap to the face with a cold dead fish, especially after having withstood 80 minutes of the slow paced, dull narrative. My rating of "Frost" lands on a three out of ten stars.

I've seen a lot of poor films and this one is ok. The acting isn't great but the story kept me interested, there are plenty of times when you say, wtf is going on and why wouldn't you try this?. But in the end it's a movie and on a cheap budget. There are parts that I was shocked at and parts that are pretty brutal, this is one of those films that could have been so good, but it did fall short. The acting in some parts is a let it down and some of their survival strategies are not on point, the story could have had a lot more to it. Overall I give it a 5/10 as I still enjoy watching survival thriller even if it's a little rough.

I typically like the trapped out in the cold genre but this one is done quite poorly and cheaply. I don't doubt this was a thrilling based on true events tale to tell in real life, but this re-enactment does not do a screen version justice. It is slow, mundane, and poorly acted. The dialogue is iffy, there is no thrill, and it is long and drawn out for no reason other than to burn an hour and twenty minutes. I recommend watching Frozen (2010) over this, or even the low budget The Frozen (2012). Even Disney's Frozen is more thrilling (the abom snowman scene). Another lesser known great is Backcountry (2014) and then of course there is the mega hit The Revenant (2015) if you want to see big budget "inspired by true events". Skip this one, as it has nothing to offer.
