Firstly no idea how I managed to leave the movie running for its entirety!
Storyline pretty much non-existent. Cardboard acting. For some reason the movie was shot in the colour that only dogs see. CGI created on Microsoft paint. Ending which was both pointless & no way alluded to during the movie.
There was one point where a floating shark in the hallway that was so bad, they should have just used one of those kids helium balloon sharks with a fan!
Only high point I've now seen was a shark looks like in a glass.
The writer, producers, & everyone involved should apologise for ever creating this monstrosity!
You're welcome!

Its not supposed to be funny but it's literally so funny, the effects are so bad and the acting is terrible and girl is afraid of sharks and literally has a shark pillow in her room. When she pours a glass of water theres a shark in it, when the shark eats her at the end so good. But id have to say hallway shark is my fav. Or puddle shark. Definitely watch with your friends. Absolutely 10/10 movie, 100% wheeze worthy the shark pillow literally made cry i was laughing so hard. Literally anytime girl interacts with water u can assume there gonna be a shark in it, its so incredibly funny. Like i cant tell if its supposed to be or not but its so funny, the main character is so monotone. They show the same scene of the shark like four times its funnier every time. The people giving this a bad review have no sense of humor this was so funny.

A different kind of killer shark movie, "From the Depths" stars Angelica Briones as Liz, the survivor of a shark attack that killed her sister Payton and her boyfriend Seth. A twentysomething brunette cannot conquer her psychological fears about not only the experience of swimming with a predatory sharks in the sea but also about the reanimated corpses of her sister and boyfriend. Sleep deprived since the incident, Liz tuns to a psychologist to deal with her anxiety, but she doesn't have much luck until she has a relationship with a gorgeous African-American lesbian who persuades Liz to smoke pot and has sex with her. Writer & director Jose Montesinos has a good idea, but his amateurish cast, especially the impressionable Angelica Briones, who is the epitome of the girl next door, lacks the dramatic chops to carry the film. Recurring shots of her in steaming ocean water with a fin circling her get old fast. The memory of the ravenous shark plunders her brain. If that isn't enough the wannabe sharker brings back the corpses of both Payton and Seth, done up with Gothic make-up to look like the zombies, to haunt her. Not a complete loss of a movie, but the bad acting undercuts the sincere efforts of everybody involved. I got the impression at the end that Liz had been dead the entire time. The ending is really the only thing surprising about this saga. If you don't like lesbians, you should swim clear of this 85-minute epic.

Alright, so you know how it goes when a movie is just so under the radar it's practically in stealth mode, right? Well, that's pretty much the deal with 'From the Depths'. It's not exactly blowing up on IMDb or getting rave reviews in the mainstream media. But trust me, my take is different. I mean, I've gone through the trouble of adding Japanese subtitles to this thing, and let me tell you, that really immerses you in its world.
Despite featuring a bare-bones cast, the movie is a total knockout. Every character, every interaction just packs a punch. It's like finding a diamond in the rough, you know? Totally unexpected but totally worth it.
And let's not even get started on the fact that it hasn't made its way to Japan yet - not in cinemas, not on streaming, not even on DVD or Blu-ray. That's just a major bummer. As someone who stumbled upon this gem, added subtitles, and lived to tell the tale, I gotta say: it's a wild ride that everyone should get to experience.
So for all you lucky ducks who have a shot at watching 'From the Depths', don't snooze on it. It's not your typical popcorn flick, but man, it's something else. To my homies back in Japan, let's keep our fingers crossed and hope that this hidden gem will surface in our neck of the woods soon. It's a cinematic adventure that'll be worth every second of the wait. Trust me on this one, dudes and dudettes.

HEY EVERYBODY ITS ME, (4) to day we review JAWS PART 17 ....
okay .... so IF anyone has noticed yet i review movies ALOT ...like ..literally hundreds of films .... i have made films/worked on films , i have ties to big names in hollywood even (not bragging just saying) so i just love film ....its kind of my thing .....
and very few times .... do i not complete a movie once i hit start ..........
this ....is one of those times ............i love above all things indie films and film makers , because it takes alot of everything to do this .....
sometimes however ......... lol........ no ......... the pacing is wonky at best, maybe its the editing , maybe the atmospherical attempt with the music / scoring ...... but it just runs weird and makes you bored even when something happens on screen like shes having a night mare thing your like ... okay and ? .... it feels like the most bored suspenseful moment ever ....
i hate to do it but i got a 3rd in or so and i just started skipping around to see if it got better .... it pretty much runs the same through it seems ....... crazy chick ... some talking ... "nightmare " moment ... repeat .... then surprise ending ... that obviously isnt ..........
ive had more excitement watching my dog take a crap ......and it even had the suspenseful music ....
1/10
maybe it was good and im just being a jerk if so my bad ... but i honestly dont think i missed much ......

After surviving this movie I am plagued by nightmares of never recovering the time it took to watch it, and hallucinations of visits from family and friends, who died of boredom trying to watch this film. It is easy to forget that this is a story about the effects of a shark attack when there are few scenes including sharks.

To be fair, I have not yet watched the entire movie. However, I saw the trailer and, to my surprise, I saw a couple of scenes taken directly from Jaws 3D.

This popped up on amazon as ive watched properly every single film ever made involving sharks so I thought yay one I've not seen.... well, 30 mins in im sat near enough falling asleep, all it is is a woman who can't sleep and feels guilty because she survived a shark attack the year before. After 30 mins I turned it off ( never have I done this before) read other reviews on here and thought phew it's not just me. Unless you wish to die of boredom don't bother wasting your time with this film. Also the lead actress is terrible.

Don't be fooled by the poster this is not a shark movie, it's just plain awful and the twist is just ridiculous. Don't waste your time, I wish I hadn't wasted mine.

I have a genuine fear of sharks and like to give myself a little jolt by seeking out shark movies. Even I did not flinch at ANY of the shark footage in this movie. Not only did it look incredibly fake, but it also comes up in the most ridiculous places (Hall Shark? Closet Shark?). And the ending was quite literally an SNL skit (Landshark). But, out of ALL the things in this movie that could really upset a person, I'm left with one haunting memory I cannot get out of my head. That dividing wall - the one with the spoons and forks... What was going on there? Why was that there? Who would have that in their home? This was the single most baffling thing in a film FULL of baffling things. Skip this one unless someone is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to watch it. Even then, I'd heavily weight the pros and cons.
