Well what can i say about this movie ? IT IS A LITTLE GEM OF A MOVIE.A proper ghost story.I have seen a lot of horror movies in my time but i find it hard to think of another movie that delivers. The only one i can think of is THE CHANGELING.Its directed by Jaume Balaguero and stars Calista Flockhart, Richard Roxburgh and Elena Anaya. The movie is set in a run down children's hospital on the Ilse of Whight.A night nurse starts her new job trying to take care of a group orphaned sick children. But something evil resides in the hospital, determined not to let any of the children to leave.I don't want to say much more about this movie but watch for the twist at the end.A true little gem of a movie and one not to miss.I gave this movie 8 out 10.

I created an account just to rate this film. This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The acting, the story line, the pace, everything was simply.. awful. I dont know how it could possibly have such a good rating and such good reviews. It's not bad in a good way. Its just BAD. Dont waste your time on this movie. If you do, come back and give it one star so no one else gets tricked into watching this.

Fractures are painful, and horrifying. Watching them happen to kids is even more chilling. This movie disturbed me a little, and surprised me. When you see Charlotte's face for the first time, it was almost comical, but then you see her again and it's really creepy. It was really intense because fractures were happening to the kids, so that made it to where anything could happen. Some of the medical stuff was comical, but the effects were good and the acting was decent!

After watching two terrible horror movies recently, I am glad I watched this movie, I thought I was having bad luck. This is a different taste of modern life and of modern movies as this does not contain your drastic over-the-top soundtrack, your cringe-worthy acting or your blood-spewing script. Instead this delivers solid scores across all three. So the story? As it states, it's focused around a nurse who starts a new job in England but finds something, awry about the hospital and it's residents. This movie balances out everything for you, it gives you a dab full of conversation, and a dab full of scares and thrills. Not forgetting the bucket-full of twists and turns that get straight to the point and doesn't involve some random migraine-worthy moments. If like me you are browsing through IMDb because you have a fascination for unique horror movies that are actually good and not your typical over-priced s**t, then Fragile is the one for you.

Halloween 2010 and since I just bought the Fangoria Frightfest movies, I thought I'd do a horror movie marathon and see how many of the 8 films I could make it though in on sitting. Unfortunately, I didn't even get to start viewing movies until the afternoon so no doubt I wasn't going to get through as many as I wanted to. "Fragile" was on the top of the stack so I saw it first. The first obvious comparison for me is with the HorrorFest 8 Films to Die For movies which I have been a big fan of. "Fragile" is on par being an indy film but looking like a better movie due to the talents of its crew personnel. The acting department is where the film is hampered as the adults do adequate jobs at best. There are some effective spooky moments even in light of the fact that I was watching when it was still light out. Not much in terms of special FX though. All in all, a decent movie to start a Halloween horror movie marathon with.

The location shots and overall setting on the Isle of Wight are wonderful. The movie also has several eerie moments and likable characters (all the kids, Helen, the old ladies). But, it's a formulaic paranormal tale seen time and time again. While a horror film, some aspects were so implausible (the reason for shutting off the second floor without even explaining the other floors above it as well...) I couldn't get passed them. The acting was pretty good. Even Calista Flockhart did well, even though a different actress would have been more suitable in my eyes (cue Julianne Moore please). Through most of the film, Ms. Flockhart maintained her waifish, 'I'd rather be anywhere else in the world right now' appeal. The paranormal antagonist was interesting. But, why was she *? That was definitely unneeded.

My brother and I were pleased to find a horror movie that we still hadn't seen yet - but the excitement was sadly wasted. 'Fragile' was an okay way to spend 1 hour and 41 minutes, but nothing more. I didn't find this movie particularly scary, and both the plot and the writing was very 'thin'. The acting was okay, but the movie was so poorly written that it was hard to focus on the plot or the characters and their (barely existing) relationships. Some "continuity-errors" made the experience more confusing, as I am left with quite a few unanswered questions. This movie is quite the cliché, and nothing I haven't seen before.
