For the Weekend

The acting is actually very good in this film, but there wasn't an ounce of comedy in this. Not much of a thriller either, aside from a few bits. If you want to watch a group of annoying friends that are all basically horrible people run around doing absolutely nothing for two hours, this is your film.

I didn't even smirk or smile! It's not a thriller either as nothing really happens. For a start, do ALL men think they look good unshaven? It's not a beard, it is just men looking like they haven't shaved for a few days, dirty, unkempt. Not a fan of beards which can be a menu of whatever they ate. But back to the movie: No reason given for Margot keeping her door locked. Abby inviting herself and then inviting Joe to join in the hot tub, and stay the night? If I was with a group of friends, I would voice my objection. Meant to be friends weekend not free for all. Who would be stupid enough to believe a Neighborhood Watch when there is no one for 10 miles and not call the police? Stupid movie, waste of time, even in isolation!

Yep, enjoyed this film. Indie films on a budget are sometimes unexpectedly better than an expensive Hollywood film, of which, this is a good example. I thought the acting was really good and so realistic... was it improvised??? seemed natural, I thought. The fat guy was funny, Nate was cool, Winston was superb... Recommended! 7/10

I have never watch a horror movie with first 50 minutes without anything horrify at all. Its barely nothing for the first hour with friends hang around. If you have some sleeping issue, watch this will definitely help. Also, please don't put fake reviews anymore.

This is a low budget, non vfx/cgi effect product, made at quite humble equipment comedy thriller drama, and hadnt it been for the amazing and flawless verbal action acting, this would have been a terrible flick. so thank goodness cause it isnt. if youre on the hunt for a new version of john candy, youll find an extremely qualified candidate in this feature film. i say use him and use him very very very often. he is a gold nugget. its a agatha kind of riddle with some bulks of high tech moves that didnt excist in the early 1900's, a getogether bunch of young adults, with a strange but strolling kind of dynamics. a house in the desert is hired far from ''normal'' civilisation, and as soon as the lender takes off , strange things starts to happe., a good climb of tension it gives, but it has a lack of a releasing climax. so as pres. Trump so vividly says, its a very very very beautiful, heroic and relentless film made on five layers of cotton, and an empty wallet, so the grumpy old man says its worth a look so its very very very well recommended

Awesome movie don't take my word for it, just watch it!

I really enjoyed this film. It worked for me on multiple levels. The characters were believable and relatable, people I felt I knew lol. Their interpersonal drama was very relatable too and kept me engaged and entertained. The film had some laughs too and some solid tension, and a satisfying climax. Good film to watch on the weekend with your buddies.

Group of friends' attempt to repair their strained relationship by celebrating a birthday at a remote desert home falls apart when one disappears and their lives are changed forever.It worked very well SOme genuinely tense and funny moments and solid work from the actors make this one worth your time.

Wonderful, Hitchcock like blend of humor and suspense. I won't give anything away, but I so loved this story! The twists always kept me from figuring out where the story was going next. Lots of interesting characters, and a well acted and written film. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole ride!

Bravo to all involved in the making of this gem of an indie film. Director Warren Williams does a terrific job telling this story while keeping the film moving along at a nice clip. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and it kept me engaged throughout. It has some nice twists and surprises that I didn't see coming. I really liked the characters! The actors were all very much committed to their roles. So for me, this film clearly gets a thumbs up!
